Apple Releases Apple Watch Sport Bands and iPhone Cases in Three New Colors

Well, now we know what Ives has been working on for the past 12 months, these watch bands!

I love my Apple Watch. I’m allowed to think these colors suck and I’m allowed to voice that feed back on a forum covering the products I use. Maybe the 5/6 comments being negative has to do with the colors being ugly.
That’s a bummer for sure, but Look on the bright side people won’t think you’re insane for spending $1200 on a consumable and now might think, that’s a cool $10 amazon Apple Watch band.That's BS!! I paid for the exclusive Hermes band, and now a similar one is sold as a standalone!!! HMPF!
Love the look of these. I'll agree that with the exception of the Dark Teal, these feel like summer colours. But I keep forgetting that winter seasons don't always consist of freezing your butts off in all areas.

I get a general 80’s neon color era vibe from the bright colors. Not wintery, just loud, lol.
I like the dark teal/cosmos blue color, but this is one area where Apple won’t win with me. Too many options available, in colors not even offered by Apple, through third party sellers that are a lot cheaper and more to my tastes. Both Watch bands and cases.

Wow, the Otterbox Defender I recently got is a dark teal similar to the new Apple teal. I thought it was kind of ugly when I bought it but Otterbox colors are all a bit meh. It was on sale and it gave me the belt clip and extra drop protection I was needing this winter.
I like the yellow and the orange but I don’t own anything those bands and cases would go with. I don’t tend to dress or accessorize with such bright colors. Those colors in particular clash with my skin tone and hair.

Boy it's you with your semantics. And YOU do realize silicone is an elastomer. Chill it's the same stuff.
I would love to have the Hermes color band, but I doubt Apple would make the new orange color identical to the Hermes one.
What flueroastamer actually is:
Fluoroelastomer comes from the two words "fluorinated" and "elastomer". Fluoroelastomers are famous for their durability resistance to heat, oils, solvents and fuels. They are often used for fuel-distribution systems or for high-quality lab gloves. It is not a material that will stretch out easily, get damaged by extreme heats, or get deformed by being excessively sweat on. It is also much less prone to induce any allergic reactions than, for example, latex. The Apple Sport bands are ideal for all conditions.
The third party silicone ones match the appearance of the genuine ones almost flawlessly, but they feel much cheaper and they do attract a lot of lint. The third party silicone bands are thinner, not the same material as flueroastamer. However, they no where have the quality of Apples Sport bands.
Although I agree with your post, it’s not winter in every country that sells Apple Products.
LOL!!!! You are echoing my thoughts exactly! I've been waffling the past couple of months about buying the Series 3 LTE but trying to justify it to myself because, yes, my Series 0 is still working absolutely fine, although I do have to recharge it more frequently than when she was new. I also had been contemplating buying the Hermes this time around, so that I could get that nifty orange band..... but again had trouble justifying the purchase because on my watch I always use my own photos as the faces and probably would never bother with the Hermes ones. Yes, the Hermes leather bands are lovely and if they had the Feu (orange) leather in the 38" size, I would be even more tempted, but that is not the case. I need to stick with 38" because I have fairly small wrists and beyond that, I want to still use my current space black stainless steel link band.
So last night I read on here about the new Spicy Orange band from Apple and -- BOOM!!! Decision made. On the day the band becomes available in my local Apple retail store I'll be heading over there to buy a Series 3 LTE stainless steel Space Gray watch and as an extra band, the lovely new Spicy Orange. I've already ordered the Spicy Orange iPhone X case, too..... Apple has made me very happy this holiday season!!
