This annoying thing has been happening off and on since iPhone 6. Forgot what iOS it was.
It comes up again and again and Apple refuses to permanently fix it.
All they do it patch work and that's it.
Goes to show that they really need to re-write the entire iOS asap.
These keyboard lags have been coming up off and on depending on the iOS release since iPhone 6.Was wondering if the keyboard lag after iOS 16.4 was fixed in iOS 17?
My iPhone 14 Pro is probably too slow.
They need to completely gut everything and re-write the iOS.

Don't forget about the 2016 Mac Books and the crazy iOS 13, 14, 15 and 16 releases.
Apple is not the Apple it was years ago when Jobs was still around, RIP.
They turned it into just being a money making machine. They specialize in being the "good" and "semi-cool" company out there but are just as vicious as the rest.
I think NOW is the time to install iOS 16.7, if you can find the IPSW and manually install it.
If you plan on getting a new phone. Probably would hold off on updating. 50% chance that you are going to have to perform the update before you can do a system restore.

Yesterday, after installing 17, my friend could hear me on a call (he’s on a 7) while I didn’t hear him. That’s fixed. For what it’s worth.
I'm glad Apple finds/fixes issues quickly, especially if related to security.
Takes about 5 or 10 minutes or when you're sleeping- not sure why it's a bad thing.
17.0.1 is for all devices. It’s 17.0.2 that’s only for the iphone 15 gen.
But they’re still releasing the security updates for iOS 16 for anyone who isn’t willing to jump to 17 just yet.
I just installed this over iOS 17 on a iPhone pro 14 and it removed two apps 1password and eBay and i don't know why as i had to reinstall them and set them up again. why would it remove them it did not do this on my iPad.
Seems like it fixed the issue I had where the audio would cut out for a second whenever I placed it on/off a Qi charger.
Hopefully, it also makes the standby and siri functions work more reliably.
