After updating my M1 iMac to Ventura 13.4, my calendar was completely screwed up. Filled with duplicate entries, unusable. Restart did nothing to fix it. I was afraid the crazy calendar would mess up my phone and other device calendars, so I switched iCloud sync off for the calendar. Apple menu/system settings/Apple ID/iCloud/apps using iCloud/switch Calendar sync OFF. The duplicate entries on my Mac calendar were now gone, along with everything else except default holidays and such. But the calendar looked normal, if empty. So, I switched iCloud sync back on and the calendar repopulated my items in the normal fashion. It looks fine now. Whew!

I have posted this question every time there has been an update since Venturas release.

Is Ventura now polished enough (13.4) to upgrade from Monterey? I've been patiently waiting to pull the trigger and here the next OS announcement is right around the corner 😂😂

Any info on upgrading would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance!
Not for me. My understanding is Mail is still seriously broken. I need reliable mail. Aside from that I've gotten used to living with Apple's excuse for software, as buggy as it is.

I'm curious as to what about Mail is broken? I don't use many advanced features so maybe I haven't encountered certain issues?

What other 'buggy' software should I be aware of?

More trash and buggy Apple software. Last night's download froze. Required a call to support. After some t/s, was finally able to unfreeze things and restart the download. It took a pretty long time to complete but it finally completed. Now experience battery charging issue and unable to authorize the mac to play a purchased movie. Previously had no issues. I'd wait for bugs to be worked out. Come on Apple, why is your software so bug riddled these days?

I just installed 13.4 coming from Monterey and everything works great so far.
