Did not fix FCP Audio Units scan!!!!

I haven’t run the software for over a month and I can’t believe Apple is letting this bug fester in the wild for over a month without an update or a fix or anything… The lack of pro support is terrible. They just don’t care.

isn't this a FCP bug, instead of a Ventura bug?

Not for me…. still takes a full 12 seconds....
Well, I spoke too soon! After the next reboot, I had to plug in to get the keyboard to be seen. Something so expensive should work...It's over the top, but a class action suit would hopefully get Apple to fix this issue.

Agreed. What I end up having to do is disconnect a device that I am not using and it works. But, I paid a ton of coin for a Mac Studio Ultra, you would think they could get this to work.
Yeah.
I was pretty pretty disappointed with teh hdmi 2.0 port.
2.1 really is a gamechanger.

Thats the most ridiculous reason for a lawsuit I have ever seen. Get outside and touch some grass.

My Keychron keyboard connects instantly.

Updated my M2 Macbook Air, printing on a Canon TS5353 takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R now, churning out one "line" (advancing ±1 cm) every 10-15 seconds, 1 page takes about 7 minutes

I had to delete the com.apple.softwareupdate.plist file and reboot. Then thr update worked. But now my SD card reader doesn't work. Nice job, Apple.
I also have SD card issue but different. I have jetDrive Lite, which works normally for a few minutes normally after powering on my Macbook. but after a few minutes notification popup saying not ejected properly. after that even reinserting doesn't work. need to restart macbook and after a few minutes same.

Apple generated this bug in Ventura:

macOS 13 Ventura BREAKS Panasonic TV connection via HDMI

The big problem is that some Macs cannot be upgraded beyond Ventura.

My SD drive on MacBook Pro M1 14" not showing, I have to reinsert it to make it visible.

So, thousands of complaints about this issue mean nothing because YOU don't have any issues. Right, got it.

It is not fixed. Still takes a full 12 seconds....
Try completely removing the Magic keyboard from the system in Bluetooth settings.
You have to connect it via lightning cable afterwars to reinstall it back.

After this procedure it should take max. 2 seconds to connect.

Apple today released macOS Ventura 13.4, the fourth major update to the macOS Ventura operating system that was released in October. macOS Ventura 13.4 comes six weeks after the launch of macOS Ventura 13.3, an update that introduced new emoji.

The ‌‌‌macOS Ventura‌‌‌ 13.4 update can be downloaded for free on all eligible Macs using the Software Update section of System Settings.

There are several bug fixes in the update, with Apple addressing problems with Auto Unlock with Apple Watch, Bluetooth keyboards, Screen Time, and VoiceOver. The update also adds a Sports feed in the sidebar of the Apple News app, and it introduces the simplified beta installation method that was first introduced in iOS 16.4. With the update, developers and public beta testers enrolled in Apple's respective programs can toggle on beta updates from System Settings on the Mac, without the need to install a profile. An Apple ID associated with a public beta account or a developer account is required to turn on beta updates.

Apple's full notes for the update are below.
macOS 13.4 Ventura could be one of the last updates to the macOS Ventura operating system as Apple transitions to development on macOS 14. macOS 14 is set to be unveiled at WWDC in June.

The issues which have been bugging me for ages are:

Slow connection to my iPad for Universal Control and Handoff after login (but, then, I do have a relatively old iPad (4th generation Pro, so I don't know if that's got anything to do with it))

The other is not automatically switching to dark mode, despite having it set to 'auto'. I can sometimes force it either by inverting colours and/or by logging out and back in (but then the first issue applies). The strange thing is, it also affects my phone, which is Android, and my iPad (which is logged into the public beta programme, but no updates have fixed it on that yet).

I'm trying to figure out what could be affecting it environmentally as it affect devices running 2 different OSs. (There's a streetlight directly outside my bedroom window, but I can hardly think that's bright enough...)

I think they have finally fixed the 'file not found' bug, but I see the scheduled startup and shutdown are STILL missing, so my Mac now shuts down at 6.30pm every night wether I like it or not. Ridiculous.

Huh? Why's it doing that?
Because in Monterey I had my Mac scheduled to startup at 9.25am and shut down at 6.30pm every weekday. Now they have removed this feature in Ventura but the Mac still adheres to the schedule.

And before anyway says 'but you can adjust it in terminal' I don't want to mess around with that and shouldn't have to.

What choice do you have if the option to change it isn't part of Ventura?

Didn't they move the scheduling thingy to Screen Time in the System Settings?
