Game controllers. At the Ventura announcement it was stated that it would natively support various game controllers and some specific steering wheels were mentioned. That was eleven months ago and it's not been implemented yet.
Thanks i was wondering about it

Did they at least include controller support natively? Not wheels but controllers like Xbox , Sony, etc

Maybe you shouldn't go deleting files like that, Carl.

Two different Macs.

Remove, reinsert card works. Reboots. Card disappears again. Tben one my TB4 ports got locked and I had to reboot. Again.

I regret updating to 13.4. MacBook worked perfectly before.

Update installed and completed very quickly on my 2017 12” MacBook once it rebooted to the Apple logo. All working well.

Also, Apple keyboard now need to be turned off and on again after a reboot.

The "Optimizing battery health" message that appears after the update is complete it just gave me an option to close it wasnt sure what Im supposed to do

12.6.6 also released but not yet showing on Apple security updates and Apple Developer as of posting...
Monterey 12.6.6 has the same build number as in the Release Candidate. Same for Big Sur 11.7.7.

Unlike Ventura which got 3 release candidates, Monterey and Big Sur only got 1.

Not much point in getting the ventura ipsw file for 13.4 if you got it for the RC3 as it has the same build number. However the full installers are available for all 3 now:

Ventura 13.4 - build number 22F66 - Product ID 032-84910:

Monterey 12.6.6 - build number 21G646 - Product ID 032-82192

Big Sur 11.7.7 - build number 20G1345 - Product ID 032-82176

How to check the build number of the InstallAssistant.pkg before installing it (or even before downloading it)

Lets take the Ventura one for example. Change the g at the end of the link to m and download the pkm file instead:

Open it with textedit and you will see ....version="22.5.66"......

For the second number it goes like this: 0,1,2, etc stand for A, B, C, etc and so 5 stands for F.

Hence version="22.5.66" means the build is 22F66.

Note for beta testers

Often we see betas with build numbers like this with a letter at the end too: 22F5059b

The pkm file will say ...version="22.5.5059.2"......

The numbering for the last part is different for betas. Here 1,2,3, etc. stands for a,b,c, etc, and so

second number 5 is F

fourth number 2 is b

and so the build is 22F5059b

I have posted this question every time there has been an update since Venturas release.

Is Ventura now polished enough (13.4) to upgrade from Monterey? I've been patiently waiting to pull the trigger and here the next OS announcement is right around the corner 😂😂

Any info on upgrading would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance!
