Have a pleasant day, Mr. Lahey.

Ironically it looks kinda cool
Tim Cook's mantra, "be best, not first."
Would you be interested in an "Apple Ring" as an alternative to Apple Watch? Let us know in the comments.
Just curious. Why?Yes, mainly because I hate the Apple Watch.
Oura sends you a kit with plastic rings in all available sizes with instructions about wearing them for at least 24 hours to check comfort throughout the day. Apple will probably just have people go to an Apple store for a fitting. How does this work for sizing. As a jeweller, the biggest problem for stocking rings is that sizes vary, obviously.
I remember some years ago, Tim Cook briefly poking fun at widespread rumour regarding an 'iRing'.
I imagine Apple would do a good job of such a product, yet it's hard imagining what it would actually look like. And yet another device to charge?
Or....
Apple could just invest in making Siri not suck.
Or fixing 10 year old audio bugs with their computer OS.
Just saying.
Wow way to steer the conversation to something completely irrelevant. I bet even if Apple poured in tens of millions of dollars in research and development you still wouldn’t be happy. I bet you’d still sit here and complain with a simple “meh” response. What would make Siri worth it for you? In my opinion Siri has improved tenfold since a few years back. But like Apple Maps and Music, people are stuck in their ways and continue to operate on old data assuming they “suck”.Or....

So you can wear whatever watch you choose to wear. One that matches "your style" and not what "Tim Cook" thinks should be your style. Why would I buy it if I already have an Apple Watch?
Tim Cook couldn’t care less what your style or my style is. I don’t know why some people think he does.So you can wear whatever watch you choose to wear. One that matches "your style" and not what "Tim Cook" thinks should be your style.
You have to take it off to charge since it will only have 12 hours battery life.Completely agree re: killer app.
A ring is something you just wear all the time and don't think about. It's just ideal for payments and for unlocking your phone, or laptop. Far superior to a watch.
And then you've got all the health tracking stuff for sleep, steps etc.
Or, being one of the largest corporations on Earth, they could just do all of the above. It's not an either/or here.Or....

Samsung Smart Watch that I used to have had 3 days battery life.Which Samsung "smart" products have double the battery life and storage relative to Apple's?
Given that this particular "rabbit-hole" of Wearables accounted for more revenue than Macs or iPads in the 4th quarter of last year, expect to see... more wearable devices.Rabbit-hole consumer product development. Where does this end, Apple? Maybe smart Apple sneakers marketed as "iSneak? How'bout smart "iUndies"? Or, a smart belt that measures and reports waistlines called "iBelt" and would be accompanied with an Apple face mask marketed as "iBelch".
Same here with the dislike of wearing rings for comfort reasons, but I work with power systems enough to also be afraid of them. Watch any decent electrician getting ready to work on live gear, and you’ll see them take their rings off first—a piece of metal on your hand can turn an unpleasant but mostly harmless shock into something just about as ugly as your grandfather’s accident.Nah... Hate rings. Uncomfortable and annoying. Plus My grandad had his finger ripped off when a ring was caught in a workshop tool. 🤮
