Apple Silicon MacBook Air/Pro Mac mini Order Status Thread

Ordered: 11/20/20
Promised: 12/15-22
Configuration: MBP M1 16GB/2TB

UPS now shows “Rescheduled Delivery” and check back later. It was supposed to have left Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok airport on 12/9 but last night it suddenly showed it left on 12/13. Have no clue what’s going on, but I guess it’s going to be late now. 🤬

No movement here, on day 4 of "Package is delayed in transit". It's really late in China now so I doubt I'll see any updates until tomorrow.

That's me as well. "Backordered" without any further comment and no help from customer support so far. I have always had good experiences with B&H so my guess is these stock orders will be fulfilled before 12/25.

Mine was delayed in transit in Shanghai from Sunday, December 6th until Thursday the 10th. It made it through Alaska to Kentucky yesterday morning. Scheduled for a Tuesday delivery in Vancouver, which seems realistic. Unfortunately, I’m not going to be home in the day, and I really don’t want to have a $3000 package left at my door.

Wow - that's impressive! I guess its the 2TB drive in mine that's causing the delay to February 1st..
 
It seems to me the US orders are shipping about a week faster than the Canadian ones. It seems that typically the orders ship out one day into the scheduled arrival date. This is unless you're american, and then it is much quicker.

You lucky North American's!! :) these things are worth waiting for I'm sure of that.
 
Mine will be in my town to deliver today. Good luck to everyone still tracking their Macs. They will be here before you know it!

I ordered the same day and the same M1 16GB/2TB but an MBA and still shows processing. This launch seems to be all over the place. My delivery window is 12/16-23 so there’s still time...
 
Well, I'm still stuck in Hong Kong (since the 10th). Now my status says "rescheduled delivery - Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery." I guess I won't be getting my mini on the 16th as originally forecasted.
 
I ordered a second Mac mini two days ago to replace the 8GB with a 16GB one (had memory issues as mentioned in another thread). This time I ordered from Apple online instead of a physical reseller store. I have lost the count of the times I checked the website for updates :D

I haven't read the 153 pages of this thread (!), is it true that many people have received their Macs before the estimated date?

Same here. 😔 This is getting ridiculous. At what point do we contact Apple?
 
I forgot to ask. I live in Finland and ordered 1.5 days ago. Where is my Mini likely to depart from? Is it going to be somewhere in Europe or Asia?

Ha, up until this morning, was the same exact status for me. Last night UPS had a delivery date of today, so I went ahead with paying the few bucks for a delivery window to accommodate my work schedule. Of course now, there's no more date of today, though hoping to be surprised… (and eventually on the phone for a refund.)
 
Finally, I got my MBA 16/1 yesterday! Compared to my 12" MacBook, MBA is a bit heavier.

Ordered 28 Nov.
Received 13 Dec.
(Firstly I ordered MBP 16/1 on 26 Nov. then the estimated arrival date was 7 Dec.)
