Apple Silicon MacBook Air/Pro Mac mini Order Status Thread

My Mini hasn't moved in 2 days. Anyone else with similar tracking? Is it because of the weekend? Delivering to the US. Scheduled delivery is 12/16 but starting to lose hope.

Ordered my MBP SG 16/1 on 11/21 (delivering to Michigan), and was provided an estimate of 12/9 - 12/16. Here's what happened since (with latest update just moments ago):
  • It shipped out via UPS on 12/10 in Shanghai, and Apple's estimated delivery was now delayed to 12/21.
  • It spent 12/11 in Shanghai with status "Package delayed in transit"
  • It flew to Narita, JP on 12/12, and UPS's delivery estimate suddenly improved to 12/14! (yet Apple page still showing 12/21)
 
After a stall in Chengdu, it has miraculously arrived in HK. I think there is a UPS flight out of HK to ANC in about 12 hours.... MBA SG 16/1TB

I am sending my new Mac Mini back to Apple...maybe they can ship it to you..the box is unopened.

Same computer as you and very close order date. Mines in Japan too.

Apple also showing me 12/21 but UPS says 12/15. Still refreshing almost hourly lol

Hah I think we're flight buddies! (at least for the Asia leg of the trip)

I've told myself every day "Don't obsessively refresh. It'll get here when it gets here. Just be thankful you're able to get one."

Nope! Can't stop refreshing!

FYI two flights tomorrow from Hong Kong to Anchorage tomorrow morning. Hoping a lot of our computers end up on one of the two.

So I decided to cancel my order yesterday and went with the MacBook Air 1TB 16GB RAM in Space Gray. Apparently they have a good amount of stock for the M1 MacBook Airs than the Pros, Went to the local Apple Store here in Hong Kong and pickup the MacBook Air instead. Nevertheless, even without the fan the performance of this new M1 macs are amazing, specially for Xcode and when encoding videos from Final Cut Pro. Very happy with my purchase.
 
Seeing everyone who ordered within the last 2 weeks and getting shipping notices is frustrating. Ordered my SG MBP 16/2 on Nov 23 (3 weeks tomorrow) and nothing has change, still stuck in processing.

My iPhone was ordered 3 days afterwards and I’m due to get it next week.

My mini was on the same flight and is still sitting in HK as well. I was hoping it would have moved by now. I have the same 12/16 estimated delivery, so fingers still crossed - hoping it will still make it by then. I have given up hope that it might arrive earlier.
 
I've been stuck on "Delayed In Transit" since Dec 10, we're currently Dec 13 and the status hasn't changed yet.

What's the longest someone has been in "delayed in transit" for? I'm assuming that because it was the weekend there was no movement.
 
Mine was in that status twice. The weekend may have also extended it out to three days for you. I bet you’ll see some movement today.

Yea same here. Mine hasn't updated since Dec 10. I get the feeling they sit on them so it reaches us on the scheduled delivery date. It never seems like they are in a hurry to get them to us. But then again it could be the weekend and covid delays, holiday shipping delays. Lots of factors.
 
So ordered my 13 SPG MBP 16GB/1TB (first Mac ever :) )on November 21st with original estimate delivery of December 16-23rd. Card got charged on December 9th. Status changed on the 10th to getting ready for shipment on Apples site. Shipped on the 12th with an estimate of the 22nd by Apple and the 17th by UPS. Below is the status updates. I paid extra to get it early on the 15th. Doubt it’ll actually come by then.
