How long does it typically take for Apple to proceed with the payment from when you place the order? I ordered two days ago and still nothing. No change in the status.

Finally got a depart time stamp. Guessing I made one of the flights this morning.....
Looks like my order is still sitting in HK (since the 10th).☹️ Looks like the 16th isn't going to happen for me. I really hope it arrives before the weekend, but I am not getting my hopes up.

I'm on a HKG-ANC-ONT flight and wonder if it will change in ANC to a Louisville flight or go on to Ontario. Since I'm in Cleveland, that might make better sense. Guess we'll find out the route when it leaves ANC.

I stand corrected!

Mine says tomorrow but it’s going to be close. I doubt they unload a plane to reload it so the plane and flight continue on 3 hrs after landing in Anchorage to Louisville. That shows a 12:32 am arrival. Normally I would say UPS has got it, but I’m feeling more Thurs or Fri based on how they been running lately. Especially since I had a package that took a few days to get through Import Scan.

I have a 16 GB / 1 TB Mac mini on its way.

My order date was 11/29. When I placed my order, its estimated arrival was Dec 30th - Jan 7th.

On December 1st, my scheduled delivery was changed to Dec 30th.

On December 12th, the mini shipped, and my scheduled delivery was changed to Dec 21st.

Tracking my package via UPS, the original scheduled delivery was Dec 17th, but my package appears to have been stuck in Hong Kong since Dec 13th. Last night, the Hong Kong date changed to Dec 15th, and UPS no longer shows a scheduled delivery date:

So it's probably somewhere between Hong Kong and my doorstep. ;)

My guess is that it'll still get here by Apple's scheduled delivery date of Dec 21st.

How quickly are people in the US seeing the base MBP ship? I ordered a base SG MBP on 12/10, Apple estimates delivery between 12/18 and 12/22. Just curious if I will see it closer to 12/18 or closer to 12/22.

I thought fedex was going to be better than UPS, but apparently not. Mine has been stuck at the distribution center for 2 days right by my house.

Yesterday: At local FedEx facility and then Delivery exception, Business closed - No delivery attempt (this is a lie)
Today: At local FedEx facility

There has been a authorization on my card for 5 days now but it still says processing. Is that normal usually? I would have thought it would be there on the 28th of Nov when I ordered.

I ordered on 11/12 but there wasn't a charge on my card until the unit shipped on 12/10...

Thanks. That's what I would assume that it would be shipped by now at least if my card was charged. Its still on processing not even preparing to ship.

Same situation, exact same timestamps and locations. Mine's a 16/512 though.
Same outlook too... it'll be hear soon enough. ;)

Hi Guys,

My MBP 16/512 S is stuck in Louisville, US for almost 4 days. I am in Canada, and I have checked FlightAware. There were a lot of flights from Louisville to Hamilton, Ontario, but there is no change in my status in the UPS tracking app. Does anybody notice any changes in their shipment progress (from Louisville to somewhere) these days?

Try parcelsapp.com

Mine landed in Louisville last night and was scanned in Ontario early this morning.

MBA 16GB/512GB/8-Core GPU.

Invoice Date: 10/12/2020
Shipped: 10/12/2020 - Shanghai, China
Delayed in transit (Shanghai, China): 10/12/2020
Cleared Customs (Shanghai, China): 13/12/2020
Delivery date on Apple.com: 14/12/20
Delivery date via UPS tracking: 15/12/2020 between 12pm-4pm.
Delayed in transit (Shanghai, China): 14/12/2020
Delayed in transit (Shanghai, China): 15/12/2020

So after being cleared by customs and having a exact delivery date and 2 hour delivery window the package now appears to be back in transit at the original source location?!

It’s like it’s gone backwards. Apple just say it will definitely arrive by the original estimate if 23/12/2020.

The shipping method is UPS Worldwide Express Saver which is supposed to be a delivered a few days after shipping. According to UPS’s own service disruption page it might be delayed by 1 day from China to Europe.

Update:
Arrived 17/12/2020
