Now my Mac Mini M1 8/8/16Gb/1Tb charged my card; BOTH charges are shown as “pending”.
Does anyone have any thoughts on when these will actually ship?
I haven’t seen any updates with UPS or Apple yet.

Jan 7 UPS shows item is "delayed" and Apple has gone back to reporting original ETA of Jan 21
I just went through this myself.
If the package is crossing a border then it will be briefly delayed while it is processed by customs.
This happened twice for me: just before it left China, and when it arrived in Europe. Each time the delay was around 12 hours.
If it has been shipped with UPS then I recommend downloading the UPS app to track your parcel as it gives a bit more information than you get via the UPS website.

Status for my MBP Silver 16/1TB just changed to Preparing to Ship, might get it delivered next week!!
Did anyone added the Pro Apps bundle for education? want to know if apps come pre installed or if there is any activation process after the MBP is delivered..

anyone waiting in Europe for a package sent on 2nd January and can share some information of where it is in tracking? I just got the infamous DHL Eindhoven part and for 6 days nothing changed there, so I don't even know if it's actually out of China or got stuck there in customs or something else.
Yep same case. Called yesterday and its out of china, we just don't have the tracking. Its programmed delivery for the 14th.
so yeah, we are on the exact same boat, cause my delivery is estimated to 14th as well. thanks for info, as I wanted to call them in today to see if it left China. gotta wait patiently, just hoped that it could get at least few days earlier.

Then, whilst still "processing" it went to "Arrives on 10th Feb" - ie the last day of the window.
I suspect that might mean that they have no 8 core/16GB/512GB Airs and they'll have to make one.
