My MBA is currently out for delivery. It left China on Tuesday and was scheduled for delivery on Monday, the original delivery window was the 2nd to the 9th so it's getting here early. Hopefully it's a sign the supply chain pressure is letting up.
Well, an update to this. It seems FedEx didn’t really feel like delivering it yesterday, after the entire day out for delivery it showed as scanned again at the depot an hour away, the delivery date is now just “pending” so hopefully it gets put back on a truck to me on Monday.

It left Anchorage 36 minutes before it arrived there? :)
24hr clock - so it arrived Thursday in Anchorage at 15 minutes past noon 12:15, and was supposed to depart about 12 hours later at 16 minutes to midnight 23:44, but the plane was delayed till 00:06 taking off. ? It then landed in SDF Louisville at 09:37 Friday morning. Where it will sit till the next scheduled flight Monday morning, and delivered Tuesday morning. 80%+ of the active trip in two days, the rest in waiting and final trip. It's all about timing and schedules - as some have found when receiving their order in 5 days or less.

Anyone know how to get more detailed events of shipping through UPS? I'm getting sparse updates.

If you go to the Apple page and click on the Track Shipment you'll arrive at the UPS site.
In the top box, under the scheduled delivery date you'll see "send updates" box.
Click on that and tick the "one time only update" button, making sure your details are filled in (they probably will be) then click on the update button and you'll receive an email.
In that email it'll give much more detail. Particularly important is that it will define whether the last scan was an arrival scan or a departure scan. If it's a departure scan it'll have a time stamp. That will tell you roughly what time it left on a flight (if it has).
On a UPS flight the flight number is the UPS route number (in my case UPS11) dropping the "UPS" and replacing it with 5X. So my flight number is 5X11. You can then search for that flight number on Flightradar24 or similar.
You can find the UPS route number in UPS documentation on the tinterweb by searching for UPS routes from CLK.

See above :)

Ordered a Gold MBA base model on 1/25. Still waiting on it to ship. Called Apple yesterday and they said it was probably back ordered. Delivery date has stayed the same from February 2nd-9th. Excited about what this m1 chip can do as I have felt extremely limited by my 2017 MB.

66 hours at Stanford le Hope and still counting.

That sucks... the only positive glimpse I can offer, is that mine moved from Stanford le Hope to being delivered in less than 24 hours, so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

No chance of that I'm afraid :)
Apple now thinks it'll be delivered on 4th Feb which, to be fair is the second day of their original estimate on 4th Jan :)
I'll wait with baited breath ?

How come no chance for tomorrow?
It seems insane that it takes longer to get from Germany to you, than it did from China to Germany!

Agreed :)
Buuuuuuuuuut it's yet to leave Stanford and go to Tamworth depot (which also has delays, it seems) and then it has to go to Preston (I think) from where it will be delivered to me.
So tomorrow isn't really feasible and Wednesday looks iffy as well as the package has still not moved from Stanford.
At least I can still use my trusty 2012 rMBP so it's not the end of the world :)

I'd not give up hope entirely!

Mine didn't leave Stanford until 5.20pm on Wednesday, went to Sheffield via Tamworth and was then delivered Thursday morning (so it took only 16 hours to leave Stanford and get to me), so there is still hope, albeit providing there aren't any delays in Tamworth. Mine escaped Tamworth very quickly and the UPS network is (in theory) set up to delivery anywhere in the UK next day...

It is a very maddening and confusing - it leaves a location (departs), never to be heard from again. In my case it left Anchorage 4 days/96 hours ago, with nary a peep. It literally flew away. And even more maddening, is they say it will be delivered in a day. We shall soon see what actually happened soon enough. I wonder what happens if it never gets delivered? I've paid for it, but have nothing. More patience...?
