After your credit card was charged, how soon after did your status change to shipped (not preparing to ship)? My original deliver date was Dec 4 - Dec 11 but i just got charged today so I'm wondering if it will arrive early.

Ordered both MBA 16/512 and MBP 16/1TB 5min after store opened. MBA coming tomorrow and MBP still processing.

Not sure when the card was charged but I did order within the first hour of the Apple event ending.

My arrival date changed from 23-25th to just "25th". No idea if that's a sign of further delays or not.
I ordered an hour or so after the store came back up. Apple took the money on Wednesday and my order changed to “preparing to ship” yesterday (Monday) evening.

I was thinking of getting it from the official apple online store but it would take at least 2 weeks meanwhile big retailers here have them in stock and can be picked up tomorrow. The prices are the same. What would be the advantage of getting it from the official online store?

Mine is “in transit” from Mount Hope, ON. Not sure if that still means delivery tomorrow to Toronto as scheduled or if stuff that’s reached that point might make it out today.

Hooray, approximately 28 hours after going to 'Preparing to Ship', my 16/512 MBP has been picked up by DHL and is on its way to Melbourne.
I ordered the same model, maybe a few minutes later.
Had the same date and status until 8 AM this morning.
I had the status for about 20 Hours, yours should update soon.
Now it has been shipped and the estimate updated to the 23rd. Location as of now "EPZ, China". The destination is Germany. Delivered by UPS.
