I saw an export scan from Shanghai too. Good chance we will receive them Monday. ?

UPS says between 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. for me ( Usually between 5:00 - 6:00 p. m. deliveries here.)
Agreed, waiting for the MacBook to arrive on Monday is better than waiting until Wednesday.

I am not sure about the delivery time but me or a family member will be expecting UPS to knock on the door. ?

I just joined the club. MBP 16GB + 1TB (Nov 30- Dec 7) and a Mac Mini 16GB +2TB (Dec 15 - 22). Replacing my MBP 16" and 2009 Mac Pro, both were overkill for what I actually do daily.

I’ve got Monday also, but Apple has held them in the past, with this sort of status updates we are seeing. Not to say we won’t get them early, just saying.

the problem may be if the volume is so great not all orders placed at the same time will be available for a Monday delivery, so they hold them, to even things out.

I'm guessing ?

or... they just like to control stuff? ?

They will hold it for sure if it’s an iPhone launch. But they don’t really care about Mac launches.

remember this, all iPhone launches have a very specific date, like oct 23rd or nov 13. But Mac launches are “available next week”.

But they have it plastered all over their website "Available starting 11.17"

Well...they said 17th and 18th specifically, but Who knows. I certainly like your analysis better ?

I know, why doesn’t somebody call UPS and ask them if Apple has a hold? I would but I’m working (lazy)

I hate to break your heart, but I also had this leather MagSafe case sitting at my local fedex hub for 2 days to avoid early delivery. And it was not even a “launch day” product. But I believe this is just a rare case.

For a phone though. So it was tied to the phone hold

Has anyone in the UK bought an M1 Mac using Barclays or Paypal Finance?

The options are greyed-out for me at checkout.

They're available for other products, e.g. watch series 6.

I did yesterday using Barclays, all went smoothly.

Did you get an email update on change of status or did you find that out via Apple Store Online
I found out from the Apple online store, it changed from order in progress to preparing to ship, havent gotten a tracking number or anything of the sort yet. Hope it comes next week ):

Bizarre! I’ll try again in a couple of days. I’m done trying for now...

*EDIT* Finance is greyed-out and not available as an option if I have a Trade-in registered on the sale. If I select a Mac without registering a Trade-in, it's all good. But shipping dates have slipped now. I'll wait...

Can UK people track in as much depth as Americans/Canadians? Always get jealous when you guys are tracking them from China. Is there a secret trick to this or are Brits out of luck?

What carrier does Apple use in the UK?

For the USA, UPS is a world-spanning operation with its own air fleet; they don't need the product to be brought into the country by someone else first.
