Ordered a 16gb 1tb MM on launch day, UPS says it was delivered today, but.... there's nothing here. Great. Already have a call into UPS to find out WTF happened since I was here and near the door all day
I really hope you get that sorted out and quick. I know if that were to happen with my new mac, I would go ballistic.

How long does it take to move to preparing to ship/shipped after your card is charged? My card was charged on the 19th and it still says processing.

I ordered a 16/256 MBP on November 14 and I have the same estimated shipping dates.
We'll have to keep each other updated!

Start checking neighbors! I'd lose my mind.
UPDATE: Got a text message that my package just got into my town's USPS distribution center. Order screen is still on "Processing", though.

hm.
That can't be the Mac. Didn't you cancel and order a semi-constrained model on the 22nd?

I've seen people see preparing to ship and shipped same day, and up to several days later. Typically a charge is a good sign for soon though. If you have FedEx delivery manager and ups my choice I'd check those.

In the past, it was the same day but definitely seems different this time around. I am in the same spot and am able to even cancel my order still but I won't of course.

If UAD and Genelec supported the new Big Sur and M1 I would be donating my 2017 iMac. Wait till you guys get these new M1 machines. 2 years from now when Apple transitions to M processors I could only imagine how powerful these machines will be.

You were only charged today. It's common to be charged and then ship out next day. I think it's once it hits two days that it's more frustrating. Lots on here have said they were charged and then it went preparing to ship and shipped next day. I wouldn't worry about that. (I've spent way too much time going through the forum and taking notes on order dates, charge dates, and ship dates)

Ordered EPP BTO M1 MBP13 16/1TB with delivery Dec 7-Dec 14.

Been spamming Apple Store since ordering to see if identical BTO was available for local pick-up and today was my lucky day!

Picking it up Wednesday just in time for holidays, woo!

Good news for the staff at Shanghai Airport and Shanghai gang:

As of Monday morning, 17,719 samples had been collected. Of the 11,544 samples that have been tested, all received negative results, officials said at a news conference.

Looks like the Chinese officials have been testing with full-force, and so far the tests are coming back negative. This is good news for a quicker return to normal operations. I predict that flights will resume Wednesday, if not tomorrow.

That was the first thing I did before calling UPS. Checked my neighbors door, then the two floors below me thinking they got the unit number wrong, the mail room, the complex front door. Came up empty on all of them

I ordered a MBP M1 16/2TB on Nov 11 and still haven’t been charged. Still shows “Processing”. Was really hoping to see some movement this week.

Same here. Ordered on the 11th, no charge, still processing. It says 11/27-12/4 but I had my fingers crossed for it to get here a little earlier.

Shanghai Gang Update: Looks like FedEx was able to resume operations out of PVG Shanghai International Airport. https://flightaware.com/live/flight/FDX9733/history/20201123/2020Z/ZSPD/PANC

FlightAware says that FDX9733 just landed in Anchorage after taking off from Shanghai 7.5 hours ago, which is after the whole COVID outbreak and testing lockdown which began yesterday, I believe. We should keep our eyes on FDX9811 which is scheduled to take off in just 6 minutes to see if they have really resumed operations or if FDX9733 was able to make it out lucky before the lockdown.

Unfortunately there's no sign that UPS has reesumed operations out of Shanghai yet with no UPS flights scheduled to depart PVG.

Edit: Uh-oh, status on FDX9811 just went from "Expected To Depart Shortly" to "Scheduled". That happened to UPS81 on Sunday before it was cancelled.

It looks like the critical inflection date for ordering the Mac Mini with 16GB of memory was November 12/13. Before that date there was VERY FAST order processing & delivery for those models. For orders placed on November 12th, the deliveries abruptly slipped by a week, and then for orders made one day later on November 13th, orders suddenly slipped AN EXTRA MONTH (to December 15-23.)

In just one day the delivery date jumped by a month!

I’m wondering if it’s normal to see this for these rollouts - sudden, huge, abrupt changes in delivery dates occurring on orders made JUST ONE DAY APART from each other?

I ordered my MBP 16GB/1TB on the 13th near 3pm EST, and got the ETA of Dec. 1st - 8th.

YAY!

They will probably attempt to deliver today, but because of that this is the first time in 2 weeks I'll not be at home working the entire day. It would kill me if they try to deliver when I'm out :p

Is your estimated delivery date today? Mine also turned up at my local delivery facility at 6am which gives it plenty of time to be put on a delivery van to be delivered today :D

The estimate is tomorrow, but my experiences, with previous deliveries with DHL, is that if it is at their delivery facility in the morning they try to deliver the same day.

What kind of steps does DHL between Delivery facility and my door? Out for delivery? Can I follow my package while in the delivery truck anyway?

Yes you'll see something just like that, unfortunately DHL tracking compared to other companies isn't very good so it could turn up anytime between when it gets loaded on to the van up until their final delivery.
