I downloaded it, but want to know if it supports Live Activities. I have a free app (sports alerts) that does this, but gack, you have to live with ads.

The best Live Activities app for sport is TV app itself.

Edit: Downloaded, and I don't have to do anything. it already synced all my teams and leagues that I set up in TV app so for the question of Live Activities as long as we let our sports synced we should get Live Activities from teams we're following.

To some, if you've ever physically BEEN to a Spring Training game, it's everything.
Not having Spring Training games listed is another big loser on the list. No Cubs/Sox game listed for tomorrow??

Another thing we won’t see here in the Netherlands, like Apple News, Apple Fitness, precipitation warnings etc. If the main language in your country is not English, Apple simply deems you a lesser person.

Apple News sucks, trust me, so you are not missing out
Apple Fitness is good, but not necessary either

Yeah but there is no schedule released for it yet so what would it show even in the upcoming tab? As a diehard NFL fan, you should know that.

What they don't tell you is that this app is only available if you're running iOS 17 or later. Will not download on any iOS before that.

AppleOne subscriptions are why Apple is making more money from services/data/entertainment/games than many nations have as a GDP

So far, NOTHING in the new Apple Sports app for MLB. Today is the first spring training game so not really surprising it's not being shown there BUT ESPN, Sports Alerts and MLB are showing the scores so...Apple is taking its time with the rollout.

Sorry for sounding pedantic, but the Spring training schedule IS part of the 2024 MLB season.. Simply just not part of the REGULAR season.

Interestingly it is showing in the App Store as the #1 sports app already. Color me skeptical that it hit #1 the same day it launched.

Edit: ok a day later, thought it launched today. I'm still skeptical.
