Good question, do I need to keep refreshing the store page or will it come up when it's ready?
Have you guys ever opened a new new credit card before? The deal is 0% interest for at least 12 months. Meaning if you pay off the full amount within that time, then you don't pay a dime to the credit card company. If it was a rewards card, then you'd even reap some pocket money as profit.
I have done this before yes. Probably the best deal I have seen is the City Simplicity. If you apply and get the card it is 0% for 18months. Far better than the Barclay card Apple uses. I tend to use this sort of financing about every other year through my BestBuy card on some new thing or another. BestBuy usually does 18 months 0% for anything over a certain dollar ammount.
So yea, then you know how the game is played with these credit card companies. Just make good minimum payments until it's fully paid before the end of your introductory time period, and the consumer wins. Otherwise, get ready for some interest charges.
By the way, Apple store now up and Mac Pro now available!![]()
It was up for a minute and had pricing errors. It didn't add to the price when you increased SSD. Then the store went down again.
Im not disagreeing at all. I was just making the point that even if you HAD to pay interest it might still be of some value to finance it if you could EARN more by having the computer. Anyway, hopefully no one uses the Barcaly card. Although I imagine you can have a very low credit score and still qualify for it.
Also, the stare was up for me for a second and then it went down again......
Well, it was up for a second, because I configured what I wanted, but as soon as I added it to my cart, it returned to the "we'll be back" banner page. FWIW, MacRumors' prices were spot-on, and CTO configs ship "in January."
If people are buying stock model. There might be good chance to get one at an Apple store Thursday., just like when the iPad mini was available. BTO orders are January.
