yep. i saw those. in fact, one of the refurbs was going to be my FIRST apple purchase. however, with the financial crunch i'm in, i was also trying to save 30 bucks on the refurbished model as well. any kind souls out there with a coupon code in exchange for a boatload of good karma?

To those people in the UK going to / or at University begging for discount codes. Try to find out if your Institution is one of those affiliated with Apple because the Standard Educational Store discount is 6% but if you're one of the lucky ones and can use the Higher Educational Stores (only accessible via on campus machines or verified by showing Student ID in an Apple Store) you will get discounts of 14%.

I bought a 2.0Ghz Macbook for £773 + AppleCare for £50. You're asking a bit much to get a promo code for the Apple Store when you're ALREADY getting a £100+ discount!!!!
