Well, if you're not against Apple-Refurbished products, then I would suggest getting one from the refurb store for $199. My powerbook from high school died tonight, and I would LOVE to have a $30 off code for the educational discount so that I could order a new laptop. I'm in dire need, as I start school again next week and I don't know what i'll do without a laptop. If anyone could help me it would be so GREATLY appreciated.

UPDATE 2 (9/5): Seriously, people -- the code has been claimed and cannot be used again. For Pete's sake, PLEASE quit asking for it! I want to be helpful, but not to the point where it becomes an utter waste of my time. Thanks for understanding. If you need a code and you're not in a hurry, get a free email address (Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) and register a new account at the Apple Store. Wait a few days and Apple will send you a $30 code. You can use the code with your old Apple Store account; it doesn't need to be used in conjunction with the new, free address you just created. Hope this stops the PMs....
