By the way, this is on the apple FAQ... I assume this is not really true?

I am not going to use the electronic discount; can I send it to someone who will use it?
No. Electronic discounts are not transferable.

It's true that Apple doesn't want you sharing them if you're not going to use it, but it's also true that it's not worth their time to implement a tracking system to match name/address and code.

if anyone has any promotion codes that would work on the purchase of a macbook pro, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm thinking of buying one tonight, and it is still quite expensive!

$30 off $300 for Switch to Mac

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to make the switch from Windows to Mac, but I am hoping that I can find someone willing to part with one of these coupons before I make the move. If anyone has a code for this coupon, I would greatly appreciate receiving one. I will certainly do the same if I receive one at a later date.

Thank You for your consideration,
Chris

hey everyone,
this is a request for any coupon I can use to buy an mbp 15" to replace my poor stolen ibook from a year ago (almost exactly). I'll be pulling the trigger this wednesday (my birthday) and would appreciate a discount code as its already stretching my budget quite a bit.

Will be sure to return the favor when i get discount code in the future.

Thanks!
d

Looking to trade a coupon code for another coupon code

Hi folks. I have an Apple Canada coupon code for $40 off of $400. I don't need it, since what I want to buy is an iPod. If anyone has any coupon codes for Apple Canada that would work on an iPod or iPod accessories (I plan on getting a refurb one), I would be really grateful.

Or if no one has a coupon code, can someone please comment if they ever do coupons for smaller dollar purchases? Should I bother waiting to see, or just buy right away?

Here is the code. Let me know if it was useful to you. Paying it forward in advance:

LEV3MCCNJY

Coupon was sent to me on the 18th of this month.

Can't use coupons on refurbs unfortunately.

You can if you get one from an Apple Biz Agent (and those are 5% off a pre-tax, pre-shipping order). LMK if you don't qualify for other discounts and I may be able to help you out!

Looking for Promo Codes

I am a newbie on MacRumors. I will be purchasing a new 80gig iPod very soon and am looking for a discount promotion code that might save me some $$$. Any amount would be helpful.

Once we get our IRS refund, we are making the big switch from our clunker PC to a gorgeous new 24" iMac. WoW!! We went to the local Apple Store and were given an hour presentation by one of the sales persons and we were sold. We are not only impressed by the product but also by the attitude, expertise and helpfulness of the Apple folks at the store. Anybody have any coupon discount codes we could use for the purchase of our new iMac - probably next month?

Thanks in advance,
Barry Brown :apple:

Thanks for the effort but it didn't work while shopping at the Educational Store. Maybe it's for regular retail only?

Most likely it was used within a few minutes of being posted and is no longer valid. I've used the codes on the educational store before.

code for discount

I signed up for an apple account but I didn't think they would send me a code this quickly so since I don't have the money to buy my Mac yet I decided to share the love. The code will expire after Monday so use it quickly. The code is: MLNJ2MSHXH. I would have given it early but my computer is broken so I don't get to check my emails that often. Hope someone finds some use for it because it is $30 off a purchase of $300 or more.:)

MLN7HD3WQT $30 off $300 Good until 2/1...

I ended up buying my first Mac from Mac Connection due to the rebates and cheaper RAM upgrade prices...

I may ask for a return code later on ;-). If i love the iMac I will consider an AppleTV or something else.

Coupon Codes for the Average Schmoe: $100+ off $1999+ (including refurbs!!)

I have a couple of coupon codes for savings of 5% on purchases greater than $1999.

READ THIS BEFORE PMing ME (if your PM indicates you have NOT read this, I won't get back to you):
  • These are NOT good for the ed store, the gov store, or if your company already has a deal with apple.
  • Your ship-to address MUST be in the US.
  • These ARE good in the biz agent store, for refurbs, and the rest of us average schmoes who can't otherwise get a deal.

Please do not request one unless you are going to use it. They are one-time-use and a bit of work to obtain and I will get very grumpy with you if you beg and then don't use. Really, I will come to your house and slap you silly. That said, I'm more than happy to help fellow forum members save a bit of money!

Note: if you're "only" spending in the $999-$1999 range, I can still hook you up with a rebate - you don't save as quickly but you still get your gear right away (same rules apply for qualifying) :D
