please please please people...I'm 15 and I'm getting a refurb CD Blackbook. If I get a couypon code, I can get a case too....you don't want a naked Blackbook running around all defenseless out there.

IMO, that's a reasonable enough request.
And on a slightly different slant, how does one obtain these codes in the first place? Am I like not buying enough stuff through the Apple Store, or should I be doing a better job reading through some of the emails they send out periodically?
Where should I be looking for them? I don't think I've ever received one from Apple, to either use myself, or to give away.

Same here. I plan on taking the plunge on a 24" iMac after MWSF '07 and would love to get a coupon.
I would provide a code to everyone (though I didn't get a promo code when I asked for one except for techound1 but wasn't compatible with education discount) but I don't even have one. I received my MB today so I should get a promo code soon (I hope) then I'll give it to someone.

It's not tied to purchasing. There are spots on the site where you can sign up for stuff like apple news or quicktime news or..... I signed up for apple news and sure enough, along it came.
