Mine changed to "We’re preparing your order and will notify you when it ships." over 24 hours ago. Still "processing"

Finally got my tilt/height/standard yesterday, ordered on March 8. Updating the software was easy. I'm particularly impressed with the sound quality, and the display is excellent. The web cam is better than I expected, too. Hope everyone gets their ASDs soon.

I’ve been in “preparing to ship” for the last 3 days. Have same order made on March 8 for tilt/height/standard. I wish I had an accurate ETA so I can plan to be home when it delivers. The delays don’t bother me as much as the uncertainty. UPS and FedEx in my area ignore “signature required” and leave everything on my porch. Sometimes they don’t even ring the doorbell.

In my experience, both UPS and FedEx will give you at least one day’s notice as delivery gets closer. I prefer UPS because they let you know when the truck is getting close. With FedEx, you just know it’s out for delivery.

A tip: put a sign on your door asking the delivery person to ring the bell or call. I think most will comply, even if the usually just drop the shipment off.

So interesting.

I am in Florida and ordered a Standard Tilt/Height adjustable on March 18th.

It was in processing with Delivery date of May 16th to May 30th

Yesterday it got delayed to June 29th to July 7th (holly cow!), but also went to preparing to ship status?

Weird, who knows when this thing will arrive!

Seems like there's more movement than the last two weeks. I am still stuck in Processing land, but hoping for some good news in the next 7-10 days.

ordered: 3/31
Standard glass, height + tilt, delivery window has always been May 30-June 14
Mac studio that was supposed to arrive after the ASD showed up about 3 weeks ago :D

I had a weird bit of good news last night "We're preparing your order," followed by bad news this morning. Initial delivery date of 5/18 - 5/31 has now been bumped to 6/30 - 7/8.

Ordered 3/18 - Standard glass, height + tilt. And "yes," brand new, unopened Mac Studio sitting under my desk.

Understood, but why would I go to preparing to ship when I am 30 to 40 days out?

Did your card get charged yet?

A total guess on my part but I always thought that “preparing to ship” meant you’ve been allocated a specific item (like monitor with serial number 1234567). Whether or not it’s a fully assembled product yet. With all the weird Covid stuff that has happened in China there could be stacks of monitors needing one specific part (like the height adjustment hinge). I’d hope that means you’ll be seeing it ship far ahead of your bumped back dates, but with all the Covid issues in China I wouldn’t celebrate until you have a tracking number.

No charge on the card yet, I put it on my Apple Card.

Ordered on 18th March 2022 (Nano with Adjustable stand). Estimated delivery date: May 17 - May 31. Status changed to preparing to ship. :)

As with other members, my order delivery date has been updated to June 30 - July 8. :(

I think it has done it because you likely won't get it within the original window but it automatically sends it out that far - my MBP will come about 4 weeks late from the original window, but 4 weeks earlier than the revised window they gave me.

Makes sense thank you.

Good tip. I'm concerned because I have some travel coming up and still don't have a real ETA.

Been in "preparing to ship" for 4 days and no credit card charged. I'm beginning to believe "preparing to ship" is just a different level of purgatory than "processing", so I'll just be patient. I can try to arrange for a neighbor to get the package if it arrives while I'm out of own.

I am still waiting on mine to update with any info. Since we are moving (sold the house and closing is on June 2nd) I have switched the delivery address to a new address. Was really hoping it would ship before we start moving around the country (RV life!).

Just wanted to say "Thanks" for everyone contributing to this topic. I know a lot of are really anxious in getting these displays, but I'm pretty sure it's worth the wait.

Here's my info:

VESA Studio Display x2
Order date: 3/19
Estimated Delivery: 5/18 - 6/2
Preparing to Ship / Credit Card pending charge: 5/26
Shipping/Tracking Info: 5/28
Estimated delivery: 6/2

Just gotta wait for SimplyMac for their Mac Studio (Ultra - Base Model) inventory delivery... anyone know of a forum similar to this that shares that info?

The estimated shipping timeline has started for the Apple store order, but still no updates or charge yet. Hopefully it get shipped out in a week or so and hopefully don't get delayed until August/September.
Still no movement (not even a charge or status change) after three days. I hope it ships next week and not have a dreaded 2 month delay.

That said, Nano Texture, tilt adjustments seems to becoming available for pickup readily in multiple DC locations. For me, tilt only is not good enough, the wait continues, but hopefully not any longer.

Is this from a track8mg website or from the apple site. Never seen a window like that before
