I got my Studio display connected to my M1 iMac. The screen is great. The webcam is godawful. But, what really gets me is this: the radius of curvature of the studio display corners. The Studio display has the same radius of curvature as the OLD Magic Trackpad & magic keyboard. The M1 iMac corners have the same radius of curvature as the NEW Magic Trackpad and magic keyboard. Why doesn't the studio display have the same radius of curvature as the M1 iMac?

Can anyone who received Studio display sense that the monitor is 100 nit brighter than LG 5k or iMac 27 retina display?
That is an only clue that the new display is not exactly the same panel that is used for those previous 5k displays.
I still have my LG UltraFine 5K and will do some side-by-side comparisons over the weekend. At first glance it isn't noticeably different.

I just updated my display and the image quality is still crap. Tons of grain and noise. Center stage is working well now though. I'm starting to get a little concerned that this won't be solved with simple software updates. I hope I'm wrong.

I've ordered a 2m cable from Amazon. My desk doesn't have the room to spare to move the MBP to the right.
This has just arrived, and it works perfectly if anyone is looking for a 2m cable. Cable now routed cleanly out of sight to my MBP on the left side, with plenty of slack.

So, does anyone have two of these linked to their machine yet, can you just daisy chain them?

Anyone else thinks that the height adjustable system (that looks really nice) can start getting loose over the years?

I honestly never had problems with the screen height on my old 5k iMac, so maybe the regular tilt adjustable stand is fine on the new Studio Display?

Only has 1 thunderbolt port so I don't believe it's possible to daisy chain (odd since the 23" 4K LG had 2 thunderbolts and they made a big deal about daisy chaining in some of the marketing material).

Do you know the curvature of the XDR? That was released before they introduced the new curvature with the iMac, maybe they wanted to stay in line with the XDR display?

Just finished setting up my two new studio displays. Replacing a 24" Cinema Display and 27" Thunderbolt Display. Holy sh**T these things look good. 5K is beautiful. The brightness is plenty for me, almost blinding with my shades down. Very happy with this purchase! One small thing I appreciate is having the same size display on both sides 😂

Are anyone's speaker's crackly? I just started noticing it after an hour or two of use
