Apple Watch 10 UK Pre-order thread

I ordered pretty much the minute the store came up and still didn't get 20th Sept... Apple Watch Series 10 GPS, 42mm Jet Black Aluminium Case with Slate Milanese Loop - wonder if it's the strap delaying it.
I wasn’t even waiting on the starting block as it were as I didn’t even realise the preorder was going up straight after the event and got one for the 20th no issue, same one as you but with the ink sport loop so I think it’s the strap yeah.
I ordered the 46mm with same strap, delivery 25th-30th, so definitely the strap.
I was undecided so I ordered the Jet Black Aluminum, Titanium, and Hermes Versions as soon as the store went live. The Aluminium and Titanium are for an in-store pick up on the 20th and Hermes delivery on the 20th. I honestly don't know which I'll keep.

Possibly, I messed up my first order and re-ordered 30 mins later and was still able to get a jet black for instore pick up on the 20th
Ordered slate titanium 46mm. But now having second thoughts as it maybe looks a little brownish? Wish I could see a proper real picture of it
Ordered slate 46mm with Nike Sport Loop for 20th Sept delivery and ordered the slate Link Bracelet separately as it was delayed until the 25-30th Sept.
I've a couple of Space Black Link Bracelets (one with a scratched clasp used for link spares) and will be interested how different the slate one is, if at all.
Will return the slate strap back if too similar but have a feeling it'll match the new watch better.

Yeah I had a look at those, thanks. In those pics the slate looks almost black, in others it looks taupe. Also the natural looks almost gold in those. Ordered a jet black 46mm cellular to replace an Ultra 1. Have been waiting for the larger screen on the lighter and more subtle looking watch. 20th sep delivery estimate with a sport loop band. Hopefully my 16PM black arrives the same day…

Ordered a 46mm natural titanium too, which should be nice upgrade to my S6 stainless steel Apple Watch. I’ve gone for in store pickup on 20th as regardless of which band I tried, delivery was coming out 25-30th. While normally a slightly late delivery wouldn’t bother me, I’m out of the country for three weeks from 29th, so didn’t fancy either setting up the watch at the last minute or not being in when they tried to deliver if (yes very much a first word problem

Gone for the same option coming from a series 7. Dropping the cellular this time as never use it so saving some pennies
Was anyone able to use gift cards/Apple balance when pre-ordering? It doesn't seem to work for me on the app, or website, but I did do a mock order for some AirPods and it would have let me use gift cards for those.
Actually I cancelled my order. Came to the conclusion that other than a different strap (which I could buy separately), the s10 isn’t a whole lot different to my s7. It’s a testament to Apple I guess that devices last so long but there doesn’t really seem any reason to upgrade. So for the first time in years, no new Apple hardware for me this September!
Yes it let me although chose not to apply my balance. But it was allowing me to do it
I'm going s7 to s10, but mainly because my s7 was a last minute emergency purchase and I wasn't able to get a cellular version, which I have been wanting to try out.
I'm not sure if that is good to hear or not... At least it sounds like I *should* be able to do it. Will try in a non-Safari browser and maybe call Apple to see what is wrong.
