Just out of curiosity, I went on the Apple Store website, and if you were to order something today with express shipping, it would still arrive on Friday, so all should be well 😅
In the US? For which model? I ordered today and my delivery estimate is October 🙃
No sorry, I meant a random item from the store since most people who ordered for September 16 delivery are still waiting for tracking numbers
Yeah, in UK there's a local reshipper or something like that. Most/All(?) of us awaiting iphone delivery tomorrow still dont have tracking yet.
I think I'm gonna pick up a Series 8, I'm gonna check if my local Apple Store has them in stock on Friday. Initially I had no interest in a new watch but I'd like to start tracking my sleep and wearing one all day again (for a long time I stopped wearing it outside of workout tracking).
I was going to wait until next week to compare the Ultra with the Series 8 but I think the Ultra will be too thick and wide for every day wear plus there's literally no feature on it I need vs. the Series 8 (I prefer the design though). Also I'm gonna get the GPS only model because every other Apple Watch I've used has been a cellular model but I have never used my Apple Watch without my iPhone, not even once.

I preordered the Ultra on the 9th with Verizon and have a delivery date of 9/23. I also have an order with Apple with a delivery date of 9/23. Whichever come first is the one I will keep. I ordered the Orange Alpine band. I wanted the Blue/Gray trail band but that one had a delivery date of 10/0-10/17, so I settled with the Alpine Orange.

I got an SMS from DHL this morning asking me to confirm the final delivery method for tomorrow. I'm in Finland and the shipment is coming from Prague.
If the watch is coming from China, you won't see any tracking or even a 'shipped' notification from the apple store app until today for a tomorrow delivery.
Yeah, I had the same experience when ordering things that came from China. My Apple app would not update until the morning of when it told me it was out for Delivery....
Especially for these 'release day' products. iPhones have been in KY since Tues, if Apple provided shipping info to the masses this past Sat the people would be complaining that their phones are just sitting there.
So they give you the shipping notification today and it magically appears tomorrow!
Has anyone had theirs shipped from Carlisle, PA? I'm seeing a 1.3 LBS package coming from Apple that's showing up in MyChoice for delivery tomorrow and I'm wondering if it's my watch since it's been Preparing for Shipping and I still don't have a tracking number for it.
I hope mine will be coming with DHL as well. UPS is the worst that can happen, aside from TNT/FedEx. But I haven’t heard anything and status is still preparing for shipment with a delivery tomorrow.
My apple order status updated to shipped and that’s where mine is coming from.
Yup that's the Watch! I noticed mine appeared in the UPS app as well for Next Day delivery and waiting for pickup 🥳
I had this happen as well and I had to have multiple chats / calls with support before we figured it out. Something reduced your Apple Account balance from the time you placed your order to now, and you need to add funds so your order can draw the amount it expects from your Apple Account. The payment system apparently can’t make up the difference by charging your credit card for the missing amount.
Once you add funds to your Apple Account, your order should release from hold within a few minutes.
