Yeah, apple’s band style and color options leave a lot to be desired but there are always 3rd party bands.
Just ordered an aluminium 45mm and trading in my Aluminium 6

Ordered the Ultra (upgrading from the 4) *also have the Garmin Epix gen2 (which I love).
I have small wrists 155mm (female). Surprisingly I don't mind the size of the Epix gen2 at all. So, hopefully the Ultra won't be too bad either. The Epix I have is the titanium/sapphire, which does help with the weight.
Why have both? dunno, I like both 🤷♀️😁

Anyone US based who ordered a 41mm get a September 16th date? I purchased pretty immediately and had 22nd - 29th. They usually over promise with dates, but hoping it's just a bug in the system.
i always get the silver because if the casing gets scratched, it's silver underneath anyway (for the aluminum versions). plus IMO silver goes with all bands.
I did (aluminum case, Nike+ band). Perhaps your later date was because of a stainless steel case and/or different band choice??
On a total whim, I picked up an Ultra with the green Alpine Loop. Should be here on the 23rd!
Maybe holding off til AT&T preorders start. Do they usually have trade in offers on preorder or do they wait til launch?
Ordered a standard 41mm midnight aluminum, stock sport loop. Checked a bunch of common 41mm configs, all like that. Weird.

Gotta be the band. I just ordered another one about a min ago, still Sept 23. Apple really needs to separate the bands from the watch for shipping purposes. Many people already have bands.

I have 3 Series 7's - Hermes, Titanium, and Midnight aluminum, so I don't think I need the 8. BUT, I might be about to preorder an 8 Ultra for my hubby.
I'm leaning towards the Ultra myself. It looks like a stunning Watch. Can't go wrong with that.
