Was planning to get the Series 8, but was instantly sold to the Ultra after the conference.

I’m in Melbourne, Australia. Upgrading from S3. Ordered S8 41mm SS Gold with Milanese loop in the last 5 mins and says expected delivery 30 Sep - 10 Oct. 😞

I honestly think the AWU is a great deal for all you get. When they were announcing all of the features I was thinking, “ this thing is going to be over $1000 bucks.” Lol. So when I saw $799 I knew it was the one for me. Lol.

I ordered a 41 mm Aluminium Series 8 GPS with Slate Blue Sport Band - S/M. My around launch-day Series 4 Silver 40mm barely lasts a day and replacing the battery isn't worth it really since it probably only have 1 year of support left. It had a good run, a few scratches on the screen, but generally not noticable except in sunlight and a few dings on the case, but otherwise still in good condition. So, Aluminum is good enough for another 4 years.

Paid in full since $400 isn't really that much and to get a year of warrenty and purchase protection with Amex. Otherwise, I am set for tech upgrades for a while since I upgraded mostly everything.

Thinking about ordering an AW8 45mm to replace my S7 45mm. If I trade it in, can I do that in store when I pick it up, or do I have to mail it? Do the UK stores offer trade ins?

Ok, I’m a little confused but hey… is the Ultra the so called “PRO” or should we still anticipate a PRO version of the Apple Watch? I really wanted a PRO, but apple didn’t drop it. Is Ultra the same thing? Can someone clarify? Thanks!

How fast did the shipping dates slip for the Ultra? I ordered within 5 minutes of the event ending and I’m not going to get it until October 20th at the earliest‽

Pro was the rumored name, but it turned out to be called the Ultra. Apple keeps a pretty tight wrap on things like that ahead of time, so people can only guess.

I ordered the Apple Watch Ultra GPS + Cellular, 49mm Titanium Case with Yellow Ocean Band and I got the extension. I ordered it relatively late, but still got Sep 23 delivery.
