air quality does not work on my apple watch... do you think that it is related to the country where one lives?

There are very limited complication choices. For example in the new modular face, for the large center complication you can only choose between Activity, Calendar, Heart Rate, Stocks, and Weather Conditions (plus any compatible 3rd party complications, such as Carrot).

The Now Playing complication is not available in either of the two new Infograph faces.

If you are playing music the little dot with equaliser bars in it will appear top centre, hit that will take you to Now Playing.

Some devs at Apple must not have found out about the new sizes and complications APIs either since there is no complications for common apps like Mail, Phone, and Messages to name a few. But hey, we have a complication for Wind... so next time I am out flying my kite I am sure it will come in handy!

I was super confused by this and thought something got messed up since I restored my AW3 backup to the AW4. Messages & Mail are really missing form the Infograph faces? I mean...what?

I haven’t read the whole thread but I got my SS watch yesterday and also found I couldn’t add certain complications to the new info watch faces, when using the watch app to set up new faces. However I did manage it by clicking on the watch screen and customising the face- then I was able to select my Just Press Record complication.
Hope that helps.

Just got my S4 40mm(I've got tiny wrists);
While I love the screen upgrade from 38mm, I find that the infograph modular watch face lets you to add additional timezone clocks only in analog style - not digital !!
I hate analog clocks/trying to figure out the time with the hands instead of readily knowing the time;
Previous modular watch face(which is still available, thankfully), allowed me to add additional clocks in digital format...
This is irritating me to no end!
(PS: I do love the watch but this one thing is taking away from the joy a wee bit)

the fact is that analog infograph face allows more complications than infograph modular... i mean, more at the same time, and more regarding compatibility...

Sorry, guess my point was not clear; I am talking about the infograph modular watch face; In it, the main time display is of course in digital style; But I need additional timezone clocks due to the nature of my work; They come up as tiny analog style clocks with no number markings. In the earlier modular watch face, the additional timezone clocks(guess from the world clock app), show up as digital as I want them to.

ah ok. just in case, do you know that inforgraph analog will let you add local times in digital way (in the 4 complications of the corners)? of course the main clock will be analog due to the nature of the face...

Thanks, was just about to try that;
But as you mentioned, the main clock would then be analog :(
Why apple, why?? So sticking to the old modular watch face for now..

just my suggestion... but if you set a "local time" located in your area or with the same time as yours, you'll be able to have (beside the analog hour... you can't delete this) the time ALSO in digital way.

basically you have 5 spots for digital hours: 4 corners, and the central complication...(not left, right or below) and you can set there any local time you want.

I have mine set up like this with London & NY in the upper corners. Apple really needs to allow Messages & Mail on the Infograph faces though. Currently, I have the regular modular face set up and I'm basically swiping between the two all day or just sticking to the old modular, which sadly doesn't take advantage of all the large screen. I'm really disappointed in the Infograph Modular face as well.

Besides the terrible situation with missing complications on the infograph faces....

What’s with the color fettish? It looks HORRIBLE with all those colors - way to crowded and messy.
They need to add color control so I can dial the face down to 2 colors in total.

I like you idea. Something to mute the colors would be great. Spot color is all that's needed to highlight important information. Unfortunately Infograph appears to have been designed for the Fisher-Price crowd.

Try this: Watch App --> General --> Accesibility --> Grayscale --> ON. The entire UI goes monochrome. Tastefully restrained and dramatic at the same time. Like an Ansel Adams.

THIS... That is a very good suggestion/workaround - Thanks alot!
It definately makes the Infograph face usable for me. I’ll have to live with the monochrome look of everything else until Apple get’s their act together and adds color control.

Yeah - Admittedly I love my Apple Watch, it’s really a great device, but I have to say that Apple’s handling of watch face designs, complications and functionality is downright terrible. They REALLY need to put some effort into at least make sure all their complications works for all “slots” on all faces, and they need to add color control to all “slots” as well as the face itself.
Finally - having much more enduser costumizable watch faces would be great, but If they wont give us that, then at least make a watchface store to allow us to purchase official designs from approved trademark owners...

I just left a feedback to apple about this; Hopefully they will look into it;
Earlier I had left feedback on the 'do not disturb' mode on iPhone X (basically, unless you pulled down the notification, you won't know you are in DND mode); Now in iOS 12, DND is much better than I had actually wished for. So fingers crossed on this one..
Requesting others to leave feedback to apple too.

I think they don't have Messages or email with Infograph face. Very disappointing!
Ditto. It's just a simple shortcut to opening the messages app (no updates in background) so don't see why they removed this in the first place.
The lack of messages in the Infograph is pissing me off. I finally bit the bullet and bought one of these watches expecting to use the nice Infograph face. Wrong. I’m on the utility face just for the messages.
