overcast I think is what I will use going forward

can use this as a complication now and use without your phone

Hey all,
I realize before I even post this that no one will likely be able to help me with this, at least not yet. But I still wanted to mention it.

I was looking through the online manual for the Apple Watch which is already updated for series 4. In particular I was looking at all the available Watch Faces and it lists all the complications each watch face can use. What I found interesting, or maybe I should say distressing, is that for both the new infograph and modular infograph watch faces, it does not list Podcast as a complication you can add! This is the app I use the most on my watch by far and I was shocked to see the new watch faces apparently can't display a complication for it!

I wonder why they would leave it off?

I'm hoping this is just an error but it very well may not be. I was really looking forward to the infograph watch face because I thought I could have all the complications I use on a single face. Sadly that may not be the case now.

If this turns out to be true, it's lessened my excitement for the Series 4.
[doublepost=1540747572][/doublepost]It's a bug that Apple is working on. Some third party apps also are missing on the new faces, but are available on the old ones. I got up to a level 2 guy at tech support, and he acknowledged that it's being worked on.

Thank you. Good information. Maybe 5.1? :)

I thought this was part of the Stock Weather App. Sunny and Clear and the temperature ring. I tried Dark Sky however that has the temperature ring going in reverse. I reported that but I am disappointed that Apple didn't have this included like shown in their promotional images.

I believe that's what the guy told you but it's not specifically true. Complications aren't missing because of a bug, they're missing because the developers of each app have to develop new complications specifically for the infographic faces. Until they do that work and submit the update to the App Store, no 'bug fixing' is gonna change anything.

It's not a bug. It's the software team's failure to update their stock apps. 3rd party apps get more leeway but Apple's own apps should be compatible with the new watch faces. It's honestly kind of infuriating that they are charging so much for this watch and the most basic things like having Mail, Phone and Messages is not available on the new watch faces.

It's infuriating enough, along w/ a couple other things, for me to return the S4 and go back to using the S3. The screen is nice and I'm sure this will all get fixed eventually but at that point, there will be the S5 looming so I might was well wait for that. Whatever they're going to do w/ the ECG monitoring will likely be improved in the 2nd gen of it as well.

A watch OS update is out today. I'm currently installing it but does anybody know if it updates any apple complications?

I love how fast the s4 reboots/installs updates compared to other watches btw.

UPDATE: There appear to be no visible changes with this update. Only under the hood changes/bug fixes and emojis. Hopefully it'll fix the occasional (1-2 x per month) crash and reboot I've been having.

no ECG still?

Well poo... just got my watch today and noticed this. My most used Complication is for my Starkey hearing aids TruLink app. The app lets you quickly adjust, mute or change profiles with just a few taps. App still works as long as it’s kept in the dock, I just really loved the quick access via the complication.

Strava Infograph complication was working for about a day before it was broke since installing Watch OS 5.1!

And its still not been fixed since, nor are they responding to any tweets/DM's about it.
