Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Still no progress (pending charge, or otherwise) on 45mm Midnight Aluminum; starting to think (or hope) as others have mentioned that maybe these are already stateside, if not hopefully they’re pumpin these things out quickly in the next day.

In the meantime I’ll watch Jony Ive say “aluminium” over and over…

Have a natural titanium on order for early November, moving from a SS Gold. Now I’m looking at the SS Graphite that’s available to pick up on Friday. I’m worried I’m going to miss the heft of the stainless with the titanium…and I get it on my wrist earlier. I know, big problems.

Finally leaving China.

Personally I’m not a fan of case vs strap. Because if your ⌚️ strap is facing a delay your Watch will be delayed by default. I just wish during pre-order times Apple sells them separately but that’s not the case at all. It’s all messed up 😂

Can you imagine how limited titanium iPhones are going to be next yea
Yeah I FINALLY got through to the store.

so here’s their take on this fiasco. They won’t swap the bands. They’ll do a return on the ‘set’ ordered online and then if they have the custom kits in store on Friday they’ll do a sale for two separate skus (the watch and the band as opposed to the one sku for the prepackaged Watch/band combo)

so from their perspective, it can be done assuming they have the custom kits in on Friday. But it’s a return and re-buy that would have to be done.

They really need to start selling the Watch and band separately from the get go.
It be great if they sold them separately. It’s a pita during preorder. Plenty of people have existing bands and would be happy to purchase just the watch. Or wouldn’t care if a new band came later. Even new owners would have more options this way.

I ordered with a band that wasn’t my first choice. I don’t dislike it, so if I can’t exchange when I pick up, I’ll use it. But, I will also buy the one I wanted originally. Even so, it would have been nice to order the watch and the first choice band and have them be separate SKUs or whatever.

Doesn’t mean anything. My UPS guy today left a note and refused to leave a $19 charger because he saw it was from Apple. The package didn’t require a signature but he still held it.
Yeah, when my iPhone was delivered, our UPS guy pretty much said that if thd package is Apple, they won’t leave it unattended. They need to hand to the resident even if it’s not explicitly signature required.

Don't get impatient. Wait for what you truly want.

Cancelled my Stainless Steel with Milanese loop order, and went for Abyss Sport band to get it earlier.

Getting my Graphite SS Watch this Friday, will get Milanese loop later. My existing bands will still serve me well.

I got charged right away.
Same I got charged right away on my ISPU and my Friday pre-order which delivers this Friday. Maybe you’ll be able to do a return on the abyss blue combo and get your Milanese loop combo.

I’m at the point where I don’t care much anymore though (whether or not they give me a better band combo). I want the dark cherry solo loop but tbh I’m going to use a custom leather band on it anyway so the sport band will just be thrown into my Tupperware full of bands lol
