Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

And the Nov 2-9s continue to wait... :)
But don’t worry - they have everything necessary to complete our orders… except a watch. 🤣

So I went to the Apple store today. I asked if they will be opening up early like they did for the iPhone 13. He said “No we are not. We open at 10:00” . I then explained to him I have an in store pickup right at 10:00 (I pre ordered the starlight aluminum) and asked if I showed up early to get in line, would I be able to cancel my order and get the stainless steel model. All he said was “I don’t think you need to show up extra early to beat any walk-ins standing in line early, but by 2:00 we will be completely out of stock.“ so of course, to be safe, I’m going to show up around 8:00am. Makes no sense, I know. I also know I need serious help, considering I have another order for a stainless steel model with an early November ship date. Friday cannot come soon enough.

So my series 7 shipped yesterday (Monday 10/11) morning, and for the first few hours I was able to access my invoice on my Apple.com order page (the "View Invoice" link only appears after an Apple product has shipped - on the top right of the order status page under the order number and order date). However, I noticed that, contrary to previous orders of different products, the watch's serial number was not on the invoice. A few hours later, the invoice became inaccessible from that same link (I get an error message). And it's been like this every since early yesterday afternoon. Is anybody else able to see their invoice on the Apple.com order status page?

So, if I cannot find my invoice in the Apple store, having a pick up date on Friday-Sunday (I chose Saturday), does this mean the watch is not yet here? Or just not ready for pick up, which will be probably Thursday evening? This year is a first for me, to preorder with a store pick up date.

Being able to "View Invoice" on your order status page has nothing to do with watch shipment/arrival on time. The invoice is basically just your receipt. I have been unable to view my invoice since yesterday (never had that problem before), but my Apple Watch is still arriving on time as tracking shows it leaving Korea with the rest of the folks above.
