Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Gotta say, that midnight looks nice and dark making band pairing more versatile than I feared. Plus the matte aspect…quite like it. Has me thinking I might keep my midnight Alu and cancel my SS graphite 😳🧐

I hadn't watched it to the end because he was talking more about what he wear than the watch ;-))) But now I've seen it to the end . Thank you for pointing it out .

Duuuuude same here. Last days was just thinking about SSG or SBTi and was 100% sure I’d send my midnight back. But after the reviews I must say the midnight looks decent. BUT who knows how the color grading in those videos is and so I’ll just wait till Friday to see them all in real life.

Did you buy the Starlight Silver? been on the fence if I should cancel and get the Silver SS.

I'll have to live vicariously through you for a few days. Hoping my order from Hermes comes on Monday or Tuesday, if all goes well. Then I'll cancel my Nov 16-23 Apple order.

I decided not to order a SS graphite and keep the midnight. I was on the fence but after seeing it in the reviews I'm happy with my original decision. Let us know what you decide!

I came to that conclusion a few versions back. The data I really cared about was the workout data, and that was all in the cloud - so it downloaded regardless. I think the only thing restoring gets you, compared to setting up as new, is carrying forward your watch settings.

The backup is most useful for those with a bunch of customized watch faces, since you'd have to set them up again.

I think it depends on how close to the hand people wear their watch. I wear mine behind the wrist bone, so I'd have to break my wrist to push the crown with my hand - my wrist just doesn't bend that way. But people who wear the watch in front of the wrist bone, right up against their hand, can easily push the crown with their hand accidentally.

In which review did you see the midnight black one? I've preordered one too, but I'm still unsure.

I agree with this totally. It only becomes an issue if I’m wearing Mechanix style gloves with a wrist cuff. Then it constantly triggers the buttons but I’ve just stopped wearing the watch during those times because it usually means I’m doing some kind of manual labor where I’m concerned about possibly damaging the watch.

I was very undecided on this. I think he convinced me. The thing that really sold me was the ways he highlighted the actual real-world benefits of the larger display. You think "1 mm" and that's nothing. You think "20%" and you think it might have potential. He really showed how that translates into real world benefits. Definite thumbs up on that one.
