Im still showing ship by Oct 15. But if memory serves me, my VZ orders haven't shown the China/Alaska route like stuff I have ordered from Apple. The last few things I've gotten seem to originate in either Memphis TN or Coatsville PA. So maybe they just sitting in a UPS or FedEx hub waiting to be scanned and released.

Hope I like that too,,,, I’m picking that up Friday, plan on using it as a night watch. TiSB is stuck until 26-28th hoping it moves up a bit.
I ordered the 45 Blue Aluminum. I guess the Oct 15 shown when I ordered was some sort of glitch on Verizon’s website. See the screenshot - I selected the 45 Nike starlight version and it shows both shipping dates

I remember they did they with the iPhone 13 launch as well. A couple days before launch day it was disabled and told you to check back on actual launch day for any in store availability.
UK, finally charged a moment ago for Friday pick up
Just got charged finally - two separate charges, one for the watch and one for AppleCare which is odd; I wasn’t charged that way on my iPhone 13PM with AppleCare.

Just got the credit card charge. Finally something is happening. Order is still processing but now I’m feeling better about delivery on Friday 😀
Still not sure how I feel about the color of the midnight watch. It definitely has a blue hue to it compared to the space grey from last year. Not sure if I dislike it enough to mess around with ordering a SSG for in store pickup and returning the midnight.
It looks nice but like I experienced with the Blue S6, pairing watch bands to it is limited hence why I opted for Starlight as that will go with pretty much any band. Would've hoped for better pics of starlight from reviewers. The green does look really nice imo.

Fortunately, I don't swap bands and end up sticking with one throughout the year. I currently also have the Blue S6 with the inverness green braided solo loop but I agree that the pairings are more limited compared to what you can do with the starlight. My fiancé ordered a starlight and I think it looks really good.
I'm also surprised by how much I like the green. It's definitely better than Apple's pictures made it look.
I ordered a dark cherry braided solo loop for my midnight watch which I think will look good. I'll put the extra $300 saved from not getting the SSG into the new MBP 16"
