Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

To pass the time I ordered a few more or less cheap 3rd party stuff for the watch. 😬 I am afraid, until end of the year I have tons of watch bands. Help.

Cancelled my order, decided I was being stupid as there's not really enough difference from the Series 6 for me. It'll be the first generation of Apple Watch I'll have skipped.

Yeah you sign up to the UPS my choice service. They send you a letter to the address you register with a pin code. You enter that into the app to activate the address. It then works similar to the DPD app and lets you see tracking info before Apple tell you it’s shipped.
I'm wondering if yours is via UPS as you are on the 'second wave' (ie not 15th). Mine still showing "delivers tomorrow' and no tracking in DPD or UPS available - makes me think the October 15th deliveries are already in the UK.

No one will be surprised to hear that no amount of refreshing my order page in the Apple store changes anything, or checking my credit card account moves the payment from “pending”.

I have my winter flu jab in less than an hour so am on the exercise bike to close my rings and leave the rest of the day to get over any side effects. I need to be fit to go into Belfast tomorrow for my 10:15 pickup.

I was very tempted and thought long and hard before deciding against the extra £100 plus £5 a month - not worth it as I’m never without my phone.
On two previous occasions I bought a cellular watch. It only cost £5 a month to add to my EE contract but the watches were bought direct from Apple. I never used the feature, and even when I tried to force myself to use it by deliberately leaving the phone at home - it took forever for the watch to switch to 4G mode. Totally not worth it. I also though it would be good for playlists in the gym but now you can sync dynamic playlists via Apple Music that get updated weekly.
Now EE charge £7 a month if you buy direct from Apple, so doubly not worth it.

Thanks for that reassurance.

Mine blue 45 cellular is still in “preparing to ship” status, but also shows “delivers tomorrow” (to Poland). Credit card was charged almost instantly after purchase. I’m a bit nervous but hope for tomorrow surprise:)

It is a bit stupid that you are forced to get cellular, when you want one of the higher end finishes.
It adds unnecessary cost. (and the ugly red ring)

I ordered a 45 mm 7 Cellular from Sprint (I'm TNXed) (Sprint billing, T-mobile network) a couple of minutes after preordering started and no status updates from Sprint as it is still pending now 10/25-11/08. I tried to get off of this bizarre train ride by cancelling but the system would not allow it as it says it might have shipped (No, it did not as I checked my choice) I really not a fan of calling/chatting Sprint as I fear they will just add crap to my account to make spiffs off of me.

so I guess I am hoisted by my own petard. :)
