Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

Curry’s in the UK still have quite a few different ones for launch day delivery in my area if anyone is looking
Where are you based? I’m still working towards a John Lewis grab tomorrow at 8am, for pick up at my local Waitrose over the weekend but looking for options as my SS5 is in for sale with mazuma but the battery health is at 80% (the minimum for a “good” condition!), I want to get shot asap…!

Who else is a bit concerned with how there isn’t any seal on the boxes? Like there’s nothing stopping someone from opening up the sleeve that has the two smaller boxes inside since the plastic wrap isn’t there anymore.

On two previous occasions I bought a cellular watch. It only cost £5 a month to add to my EE contract but the watches were bought direct from Apple. I never used the feature, and even when I tried to force myself to use it by deliberately leaving the phone at home - it took forever for the watch to switch to 4G mode. Totally not worth it. I also though it would be good for playlists in the gym but now you can sync dynamic playlists via Apple Music that get updated weekly.
Now EE charge £7 a month if you buy direct from Apple, so doubly not worth it.
I’m with EE and a couple weeks ago upgraded to a pair of iPhone 13 Pros. As an existing customer and adding my wife’s phone (from O2) I got a cracking deal. As compared to buying from Apple and taking a sim only deal I’m paying next to nothing for my data.

Just out of interest I’ve checked out the AW deals on the EE website and they are very poor value.

Why are you concerned about this? The actual watch and band boxes are still sealed. I'm happy about getting less waste.

Just received the "shipped" notification. My watch seems to be in Prague and is on its way to Stuttgart, Germany with DHL Express. But DHL says it will arrive on monday not tomorrow. We'll see.

Same here Koblenz, Germany. I knew they’d send it from Czech Republic for Germany. But yeah, they say Monday instead of Friday… But I don’t care because it’s the midnight watch I’ll send back anyway.

Mine's just "preparing to ship" but still says delivery tomorrow. I was charged yesterday, so I'm guessing UPS either has some miracle up their sleeve or it's already moving and the status just hasn't updated yet.

Just got my shipping notification (DHL Express). My watches are already in the Netherlands and will be sent to Bremen, Germany next. Bremen and the Netherlands are basically around the corner. 🤩
Normally I get notified when Apple stuff is still in China and then on its way to either Netherlands or Czech Republic.
