Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

you will get charged when it becomes ready for pick up at store. usually when they scan it at the store for the launch day inventory.
Same here! Never been this late with a preorder ready for collection - but given the stores have so few of these, I reckon they're just gunna scan them before they open in the morning now.
Glad I’m not the only one. I’ve got to wake up super early to get there because the shop is a train ride away. It’d be nice to actually know what’s happening tonight so I don’t waste my time.

Apple very rarely if at all get these things wrong. Your watch will be waiting for you and you will be charged when you pick up the watch so relax and enjoy the train ride. I pick up mine at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon and although my card has been charged, my status hasn’t changed yet because my watch is on its way to the Apple Store and first thing in the morning the Apple crew will open up all the delivery boxes and scan the contents into the inventory and then you will get a text message informing you that you are able to pick up your watch at your allotted time

Got my import scan. I’m ready to head north by truck usually to Plainfield, IN first, then to my CC in Centerville. I need to make arrangements to pick it up first thing tomorrow before work.

So many activity within 1-2 day. On a roll. On your way to catch your last final flight. 🤗

Guys, is there a reason why the majority of orders' origin scans are in China and mine is in Carlisle PA?

Does it mean mine is somehow an inferior model; or that something happened to my model, and it had to be diverted to Carlisle PA to be fixed?

Yours already made it to the states. You could be getting it from the store inventory warehouse.

Perhaps yours is just a cardboard cutout display model. Just kidding. Your watch will be fine and it will be a brand-new model fully sealed and fully boxed so relax

Can you all share your weight? I just got a UPS my choice notification of a package from IDC - IPHONE - DF - B2B and can't think of what else it could be - 1.10 lbs

edit - ordered through ATT and still have delivery dates in early November
0.40 Kg which is 0.882 Lbs . Aluminum watch and solo loop .

I agree. All watches are going to be brand new sealed. Fresh off the assembly factory line.

Thanks for this. It’s my first launch day pick up from an online order. The only other time I've picked up an Apple product from the store at launch was the iPhone 4 or 5 I think. Those days when you’d wait in-line from like 5am and hope to be able to get your hands on one before they ran out of stock…………..ah memories. 😂

Yeah it got run over and they have a big tape and glue station in Carlisle. 🤣

I have noticed in the past, the first few batches of products get shipped as a group. They are then shipped separately from the country they were heading to.

I have seen this in the past with iPhones and Apple watches
