Shame not DPD as I trust them, but to be fair can't remember a DHL delivery so don't know if good or bad - do they give a time slot?

Combination of the bands and the faces, plus the option of Space Black SS, which I love.

Guys, is there a reason why the majority of orders' origin scans are in China and mine is in Carlisle PA?

Does it mean mine is somehow an inferior model; or that something happened to my model, and it had to be diverted to Carlisle PA to be fixed?

No, of course not. It just means that yours was in the first batch shipped stateside from China, and is in the Apple warehouse in PA already.

Long time lurker first time poster. I’m due to pick up my first AW in store tomorrow (UK) I’m a bit worried at this point. Apple Store is still saying it will be available to pick up tomorrow but my card payment is still pending and the watch isn’t ready for collection yet. Anyone in the same boat? The shop I’m picking it up from doesn’t close until 9pm but I’m a bit concerned that the money is still pending. I originally ordered a Gold SS with the cherry leather strap for delivery but it wasn’t going to be available until the end of October so I cancelled it a few hours later and ordered the Gold SS with the Forest strap for a store pick up.

Just got the pick up notification for here in Bath. A few hours later than usual (albeit, iPhone) launches, but still glad to get it!

To answer my own question, just looked in my text messages chain and it seems that the last few Apple deliveries I have had have come from DHL with an hour time slot

Do you watch Modern Family? This reminds me of when Phil bought a sports car instead of a minivan like he was supposed to and calamities ensue. Can’t fit the kids, can’t even fit real estate signs! 🤣

4 weeks no. But from my experience, orders always come earlier than expected. My iPhone 13 PM showed up 2 weeks early. Apple loves to under promise, over deliver.

No, that's one of the places Apple stock piles iPhones and Watches for a launch. I think my AW must have been in a US stock pile since ATT is shipping it today from their location so I received it tomorrow. Years ago during an iPhone launch I was concerned because folks were getting their shipment notifications and tracking from China but not me. It turns out my phone was in PA all along and I did receive it on launch day.

I blame my expensive taste too. It got me. It's all good though. I still managed to get an October delivery. Might get it a few days early. I have a feeling i'll get it in the mid of next week. Not to worry. I'm still here.

It was a the resale value of the S5 that put me off getting the 7! That and the month wait for titanium models

Yep, exactly 11:33am ping from DPD! It’s refreshing how reliable DPD are after zero updates from DHL on our iPhone 13 deliveries!

I was going to wait out the time for titanium but S7 pre-order day took over & I went in for a Midnight Nike & Starlight braided for the missus. I’m now thinking the green with leather looks best for myself & save the titanium cash towards the MBP. Fun & games for me tomorrow, I work close to Apple Regents Street store so I’ll be paying them an early visit to try and bag a green S7 in-store.

My S5 I’m thinking about giving to charity, aka Apple trade-in 😂

Oh yes, new MBP’s are a solid bet! I’m excited as that will be my go to Apple work horse & I’ll sell my old 27” iMac.
