you can pair two watches with your phone. setup my new one from iCloud backup. When you are happy with the new one, reset old watch from settings->General-Reset on the watch.
Just unpair and it'll ask you to sign out of your Apple ID and turn off Find My (I think). It'll also create a backup on your phone.
But unpairing will do all that.
Now hurry up and pick it up and post pics.

I see you're in Canada. I ordered the exact same watch as you, but I haven't moved to Ready for Pickup yet. Which store are you picking up from?

He was just being extra 😂 apparently that was more important than an iPhone. It is still unknown why he choose milk and toilet rolls over an iPhone. No one knows.
So about 20 minutes ago I get an email and a text message from UPS telling me my delivery which is supposed to be tomorrow is all of a sudden rescheduled for Monday the 18th. Which makes absolutely no sense because my watch has now been transferred to the UPS center that’s about 12 minutes or less from my house. So I called UPS and the lady says no it’s scheduled for delivery tomorrow and I said what you sent me these text messages and email that said it’s not coming till the 18th and she said as well my system shows that it has been delivered tomorrow the 15th.
So now it’s kind of anybody’s guses as to if my watch is coming tomorrow or if it’s coming Monday which they have some explaining to do if they can’t deliver a watch that is literally 12 minutes from my house right now. They are so dumb now I’m gonna be checking obsessively through the night which I know is stupid because it’s only a watch but it would mean I would be staying home another whole day waiting for it to be delivered on Monday if it doesn’t come tomorrow. Maybe UPS is just having trouble with their system and it’s sending out the stupid random emails and text messages..
anybody else in Los Angeles get a similar delay notice even though it’s at your local center ready to be delivered

Mine's in Sylmar too but didn't get a rescheduled notice. Still slated for delivery tomorrow when i check the app.
He's been silent for a while. Hopefully he's at the Apple Store now picking up the SS and arguing with them to get a new band. Doubt he'd get it though as Melbourne is still in lockdown (Sydney has been free since Monday).

My launch day watch which went to “Shipped” on October 11 but sat in Shanghai for the last four days finally started moving tonight, but UPS changed the delivery date in the app to October 18.
The Apple Store app still says “delivers Tomorrow” but UPS is now Monday.
Everyone always says “have faith, if Apple says it will be there, it will get there” but let this serve as a reminder that it is not always true.

No I'm in Etobicoke! My local store Sherway Gardens had none available when I ordered, so I selected Eaton Centre for tomorrow evening. Still showing "Processing".

It’s so weird cause the app says it’s coming tomorrow but when it shows the dates for my various deliveries it says the 18th. I think their system is messed up cause the tracking says the 15th. Bizzare!
