Ordered a SS 45mm Graphite watch with carrier (EE) . It hasn’t moved and I’ve contracted their customer support to get the line “it will be up to a max 28 days” , no movement on their tracker and no DPD movement either , although someone said they may have put the “fake” watch number into the delivery information and therefore I’m receiving no updates, seems fairly unlikely I’ll be getting one today but until 11am or so I keep a tiny bit of hope.
Nope covid restrictions. 🤦♂️ Strictly click and collect.
I’ve never used VIP delivery with DPD, you should definitely get the morning slot if you asked for it.
Due to client meetings, I’m working in London today not home so my better half will have to sign for mine when Piotr arrives!
My S7 is at my local delivery hub as per the tracking! Yay!

Its fine - what happens is the pre-auth has dropped off the pending part (thats your banks choice), but apple still have up to 30 days to "claim" the preauth.
Its going to ship soon, chances are they will put through the final claim in the next day or so (you may see another alert first or you may just see it appear taken on the online statement)
(ps - talking from a lot of experience with HSBC and a number of apple orders I'm not willing to divulge the count of as I'm too embarrassed

I’ve just ordered my green S7 from John Lewis for local collection tomorrow after 3pm. As usual, an exemplary service from John Lewis with 2 year guarantee. Will return my Midnight back to Apple but my missus will keep her Starlight arriving this morning.

Ordered a Graphite 45mm with Abyss Blue Sport Band from John Lewis this morning for delivery tomorrow. (4 in stock at time of ordering).
My Apple 'awaiting to ship' order that still states 27-29 delivery will be returned if I can't cancel.
Didn't want the Solo Loop band coming with the Apple order. That, the tomorrow delivery and the extra year warranty with JL was the better choice.
