This morning I reserved a SS graphite 45 w abyss sport band for pick up in store today in Charlotte, NC. There should be an easier way to see what stock is available in store without blindly checking case/band combinations. The sport band is not even one of the “stock” configurations. I just knew to check that one from MR discussions over the last week

Ive said this time and time again, but I'll repeat just in case Apple snoop on this forum... SELL THE WATCHES BY THEMSELVES and include a subsidised voucher that someone can redeem for a band of their choice at their leisure.
Bought this band a couple months ago to go with my Graphite SS. Here it is pictured with my S6.
Can you let me know why? Still bouncing between the regular SS and the Graphite.
Tried one in store yesterday and I absolutely love it. I think it'll go great with my starlight that's supposedly coming today. I do have the chalk modern buckle on now and I like that too (can send pics if you'd like). I'll probably pick this one up today
Well as usual the pre charge on my new watch from Wednesday the 13th that was followed yesterday morning by preparing to ship on Apple has disappeared. Was hoping to see shipped and tracking today but I guess that is not happening.
Directly below is what I saw yesterday on my card account. That’s gone today. Obviously it has not shipped but close so Apple did the usual test charge I am assuming. Was hoping that it was more than that. Probably won’t see much activity till weekend. Now hoping it just waits till my shipping dates of 10/26 to 10/28. Later half of next week not gonna be good to have it arrive at home.
Still shows preparing to ship.

I did exactly the same purchasing strategy. Ordered the Aluminium in midnight with sport band for launch day delivery as it's likely to have highest availability. Then I watched iJustine's applegasm over the leather link band on Wed and decided to buy one in midnightI was contemplating the midnight leather link band and your pictures have sold it to me!
(arrived within 24 hours). It is soooo nice though. I'm just a bit concerned that I'm going to have to swap it out every time I go to a cardio session at the gym - otherwise it's going to stink?

Well my “launch day” watch only got as far as Anchorage.

Yes done this several times. It’s my visa check card on bank account. So killed and restarted and logged in. It’s gone I suppose more delays in China. As I said not big deal I have my “precious” (1TB ProMax 13) this is just a bonus upgrade from my aluminum watch 4. It would actually be better if it can’t arrive Monday to Wednesday am just wait for delivery to house 26-28 personally.
It’s just so shiny and looks premium. While I liked my series 4 space black, i was always a little envious of the shiny silver SS. Graphite to me is the best of both worlds…the darker look but still shiny. Kind of in the middle of silver and space black if that makes sense. And the graphite looks different (darker or lighter) depending on the lighting.
It’s really comfortable too.

Wow… Apple did it again. As of 9PM MST last night I had no tracking. Fully expected not to get my watch on the promised Oct 15 date. And wow, did I wake up to a hell of a surprise.
The watch didn’t even come from China, it came direct from California. Overnight. And it’s on the truck for delivery today. Just unreal Apple. Unreal. Mind blown every time.
