Picking up Midnight Series 7 Apple Watch at Apple Store

Eventful morning. First stop was the UPS CC to pick up my Al watch that I now can return since I snagged a graphite SS model for in-store pickup. From the UPS CC I took the few minute drive over to my local Apple Store and got there a few mins before they opened at 10:00. They ushered me in from a line of about 15 people and it was a simple process to get my new watch and return the other one. It just finished setting up and it seems awesome so far. I like the heft of the stainless for sure and it’s a beautiful color. Excited! 🤩

Im looking for a good screen protector for my new series 7 starlight, has anyone got any recommendations?

I tried some with my first watch. Either the fell down or had bubbles ! I gave up and never had a scratch. Maybe they do something better now ?

UK here. Got an SMS alert from DHL yesterday and watch is in China as ‘item picked’ but no official delivery date by them available yet. Apple Store tells me it’s October 21.

However, up until this morning my payment on my card has been pending, now though it’s completely disappeared from my bank statement and the money seems to be back in my account, not just floating there waiting to be removed by Apple.

Anyone know what’s going on or have the same? I paid by Apple Pay and all my payment details are correct and I certainly have enough dosh in my account!!!

Apple Store still shows my order is shipped and being delivered next week…

My pending payment (Halifax) has also gone and funds seemingly returned to available balance.
Mine has shipped and due to be delivered on Tuesday on the Apple app, but 'Please check later for scheduled delivery" on UPS website.
Last update was last night that it is being forwarded to destination city (from Shanghai).
I don't suspect I'll get another update now till in the UK.

Well my “launch day” watch only got as far as Anchorage.

UPS says now estimated “Monday”

Second time in two years Apple Store has failed on promised launch day delivery. And I’m in a major metro area.

I'm in sorrow-darity with you. ☹️ Now I too can attest that the apple devices do not always deliver on time.

Have a silver and graphite SS waiting for pickup and I’m deciding between the two. I’m really thinking about the modern buckle which has silver lugs, so I’m wondering how that might look w the graphite…Can I ask what you prefer about the graphite vs silver?

You are fine. I hope we receive our UPS scans later today or tomorrow. Someone said Apple decided to push our orders to preparing to ship so we dont cancel our orders today lol. Not sure how true that is.

I do recall in other iPhone preorders that they used to do test charge as orders prepared to ship but the charge drops till they actually do. Never really paid much attention but just started watching once items shipped. Enjoying my new phone as I know you are. I can wait till promised window.

Welp! FedEx just changed my AT&T delivery to pending 😭 It shipped yesterday with overnight delivery but there was a delay out of TX it seems. So tempted to pick up one in store as there are many available...trying to be patient but I may cave.

We don’t have a long wait to go. Apple Watch is really delayed till December. We are lucky we were able to snag one and get an October date frame. Not too long of a wait to go

Same thing happened to me. Pending charge on 13th bu gone today. Still preparing to ship as of the 14th never got the shiped notice on mine. So similar but different

Sadly, ditto, ditto. The Unindicted Co-Conspirator and I pre-ordered promptly. I watched our orders move from Jianxing to Shanghai on Monday, and there they sat. Last night they flew to Korea and thence to Anchorage, where they arrived about 4 hours ago.

Wonder what happened. Did a clumsy forklift operator drop the pallet? Was the warehouse besieged by swarthy turbaned ruffians on horseback? Did a North Korean dictator threaten to shoot down the next UPS plane passing near his airspace until Apple promised him a special edition Watch made of unobtainium?
