Have a silver and graphite SS waiting for pickup and I’m deciding between the two. I’m really thinking about the modern buckle which has silver lugs, so I’m wondering how that might look w the graphite…Can I ask what you prefer about the graphite vs silver?
Edit: gorgeous watch btw!!

I think it’ll take more strap combos than either my ss or sbss, it looks to me like the titanium but shiny instead of matt.

Also like my sbss, this graphite won’t scratch/wabi sabi like the pure steel one does almost straight away

My pending payment (Halifax) has also gone and funds seemingly returned to available balance.
Mine has shipped and due to be delivered on Tuesday on the Apple app, but 'Please check later for scheduled delivery" on UPS website.
Last update was last night that it is being forwarded to destination city (from Shanghai).
I don't suspect I'll get another update now till in the UK.

I’m also Halifax - but spoke to an Apple helper today by message who reassured me that payment is settled with Apple so I don’t think you need to worry.

My DHL tracking still says just China and that they’ve picked the item up! When I go to my Apple store order it said arriving 21 October (Thursday) this morning but now it’s changed to ‘arriving soon’!! So I’ve no idea still when it’ll come. Hope you get yours Tuesday

My 45mm Graphite Stainless has arrived!! I have the Midnight Sport Band and also I have the Graphite Milanese Loop for it.

For the 19th time I had decided not to get one. Then I see the Apple store 2 hours away has a Graphite for pick up. I still pass. Now 4 hours later I find out I will be 20 minutes from that store tomorrow and it still shows in stock. Apple is working voodoo to take my money. At this point if I don’t buy it I might have 7 years bad luck.

Eventful morning. First stop was the UPS CC to pick up my Al watch that I now can return since I snagged a graphite SS model for in-store pickup. From the UPS CC I took the few minute drive over to my local Apple Store and got there a few mins before they opened at 10:00. They ushered me in from a line of about 15 people and it was a simple process to get my new watch and return the other one. It just finished setting up and it seems awesome so far. I like the heft of the stainless for sure and it’s a beautiful color. Excited! 🤩

Wearing the same combo now. I really like the abyss blue color with the graphite.

Will do. I’ve heard mixed reports (some have suggested it has to be a band of equal value). Also not a big deal to sell the duplicate band, but we’ll see.

Doesn't sound good for me then haha. I want to swap out an abyss blue sport band for a dark cherry braided solo loop. Good luck to you! 🤞

I am a bit irritated that when I unpaired the old one it didn’t back up so when I went to set up the new one I will have to start from scratch.

Welp! FedEx just changed my AT&T delivery to pending 😭 It shipped yesterday with overnight delivery but there was a delay out of TX it seems. So tempted to pick up one in store as there are many available...trying to be patient but I may cave.

Yeah same thing happened to me but it did make it out of Texas to Indianapolis and it hasn't left there yet. I keep checking Fedex to see if they have updated it yet. I'm still hopeful it maybe delivered tomorrow.

Anyone doing in-store pickup have luck swapping to a different band?

I was able to have them swap out the band in-store. It was kind of confusing for the store associate, and took 30 min in total, but they made it work out.

I am so happy I returned the Starlight Silver Aluminum for the SS Silver. (Pic doesn’t do it justice) By the time the store opened there were close to 20 people (walk-ins) outside and all of them were able to get a watch.

Love the combo! Probably my favorite so far. We need to convince @LFC2020 to get the Milanese stainless steel loop. I don’t know why he didn’t pick it up yesterday, smh! He just can’t get it together, poor fella 😂
