This question was asked alot during this time , and I saw some hit or miss answer . And Yes , you can swap it to another band if you want . I just did it when I picked up my 45mm graphite SS , swap from silver milanese to graphite milanese .
If the band you want in-stock , they can swap it without hassle , if not , they wont do it .

I mean I only noticed it when I compared it to my S5, do you have an older model in hand you can compare it with?
And I know from several iPhone yellowgate experiences that Apple cares very little about screen tone variances. I know I can exchange it anyway but it doesn't bother me enough to do that.

Here are a few examples of the new S7 Midnight up against the S5 Space Grey and the new S7 Starlight against the S5 Silver. You really have to be looking at it pretty close to tell the difference. My wife likes the softened tone of the Starlight. I lean towards blues and greys with a lot of my bands, so its working for us.

I received my watch today. I don’t like the sport band. I’ll try to exchange it at the Apple store. If they won’t, I’ll buy a cheaper band from Amazon.

Made an impulse buy this morning and managed to snag this SS model for in-store pickup. Coming from an AL S4, wasn’t sure if it was worth the upgrade but no regrets on my part.
