Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

For those who have the SS silver model, do you do anything to protect the glass or sides? With my S4 Aluminum, I always had a screen protector on it because I work out a lot and tend to bump into stuff. Is the screen really that scratch proof? I never scratch the sides on my S4, but if I scratched the display or the SS with my S7, I think I might have a heart attack! I'm extremely anal with gear!

Had stainless steel S0,S2,S3,S5 and now S7. Had a Alu S4 and that is the only screen I have ever had a scratch on. All watches were naked.

This. is. Fed Ex. I returned something from Sacramento to Fresno on 9/26. It took 9 days to go a 4 hour drive. Then…it sat at FedEx in Fresno for 15 days…and they finally delivered it yesterday. Still don’t have my refund.

Apparently the store inventory isn’t matching with what Apple website is showing. You physically have to go to the store or call them to check the internal inventory. It’s annoying

I have a better story. Back in 2020, I backed a wireless power charging brick on Indegogo. It was supposed to ship in April 2020 and it did. But I actually forgot about it (virus upheaval and all, moving to work from home, etc). Well, I just got it Saturday. A year and a half later. It sat in some clearange broker for a year and a half. Still had 86 percent charge too, not bad power retention.

Thanks for the info. Well, I have one coming in two weeks, so it's not worth bothering for me. If I do luck into one online, fine, or if I happen to be at the Apple Store for other business, I'll ask. But otherwise...

And another delivery fubar. I ordered green and dark cherry leather link bands. Delivery to be 10/20.

Daughter ordered Apple Watch from Walmart. Delivery to be 10/18.

MONDAY am. 7:39. Email from Walmart. Delivery delayed. Unknown when. THEY cancelled the order for the watch.

8:15am. Doorbell rings. Delivery direct from Apple. Thinking it’s a mistake by Walmart, I refuse delivery.

TUESDAY am. Notification from Apple. Yay, they say. Order for watch bands to be delivered by 8:00pm today.

Check order status for delivery tracking. Yep, it was the bands I refused yesterday. Apple says refund and I have to reorder. I’m not sure I will.

Thank you! Not yet. The UPS CC opens at 10:00AM. I’m at work. I also go to lunch at 01:00PM, late lunch today. Ugh! So I’ll be picking up later this afternoon. I just looked at my S6 titanium Watch (natural) I see so many scratches. It is time to retire this baby! Will post pictures later this afternoon.

I agree. I am so happy I cancelled my Starlight Silver Aluminum and went with the SS Silver. Absolutely stunning and best of all, all bands pair perfectly with it.

I put on liquid glass on my graphite SS Series 7. It's a ceramic coating. I am pretty anal about my gear also, but why cover up the beauty of the stainless.

💯 I said essentially the same thing a few posts before yours. Definitely on the same page there but, again, not a diss on anyone who prefers that look!

I always got a black or grey SS or Titanium (though it might as well be Unobtanium). But I noticed the local Apple store had a gold SS with midnight black leather link. So...what the F. A gold watch always looks fancy :) Time for something new.
