DHL express aren’t exactly an express service!
My watch has been out for delivery all day and when I spoke to them, they told me by the end of the working day.
Guess what, its still not here! Hopeless!

You just buy it online and do in store or curbside pickup. Then you don’t need to rush to get it. Also, returning the watch from Apple is as simple as starting the return process with Apple and printing a label. Nothing to really stress about.
I have 40 Apple branded bands, and my collection is tiny compared to some other folks.
And huge compared to most people! 😬

Same! But mine now says Dec 6-17 from the original Oct 18-20. F*cking insane. And it has been "preparing to ship" all this while. The person who was preparing my order probably stepped into a portal to a different dimension by accident and got lost. Now Apple has to send in an extraction team to retrieve my order hence the delay.
Edit: The Apple Watch can open portals after all.

No big deal but watch now has sat in Anchorage for 9 hours. Most of my devices (all iphones) usually 4 hours average. It is expedited and not express like the iPhones are always. Below is chart of the two (and other services). I see expedited is about double the time compared to express (2-5 days compared to 1-3 days) So not surprised Lots of delays on UPS planes out of Anchorage to Louisville this morning. Weather is fine they had a bit of rain awhile back but not much wind and no major issues listed in flightaware app and website. Wonder why the delays — inquiring bored nerdy minds want to know LOL
UPDATE one of the 45 minute delayed planes heading to Louisville now but it may be half hour or more til UPS scan shows that if watches on on that plane, but again being expedited may mean its not priority also.

Sounds like it could be an adventure—How about planning something fun over there to do so if Apple doesn’t have your watch, you can still have a fun reason for that trip?
Maybe think about if you’ll be okay with the 45 if it looks too big? Mine looked way big, but I kinda loved that. Mine felt way big and I didn’t like that. Literally woke up in the night with sore wrist. So maybe consider what you’ll do in the various what-if scenarios, and remember if you like it, it doesn’t matter what other people think of how it looks. We’ll encourage you to enjoy it.
No, US bills are 75% cotton and 25% linen...not normal paper that's made from wood pulp, anyway. They feel like paper, though.
Well for me DHL express in central Illinois with no local store is a mixed bag over years compared to FedEx and UPS. I was expecting a special shipment one time and got this notice that no one was home or such but they never came here. And it was going back to their hub in Chicago Subburb. I called and they got the driver and he came back. Turned out that the GPS they had put him 1 mile east of me in country. Now since them did not have this problem but with them not being local I eventually had person in Morocco (sending fossil) to use UPS again when he sent items.
Yeah no probs. I managed to get one day after launch from John Lewis with a preferred strap. Would I have just kept the original order if I knew it would be here today (originally set for 27-29th)......probably.

It’s here! 1 full week before the date I was given when I ordered it.
Coming from a S4 44mm, I don’t notice that much of a difference on my wrist.
The screen looks much bigger to look at though!

Congrats! Same with mine - one whole week earlier! I had a S4 too in 44mm and the screen increase is pretty noticeable, also really liking the AOD!
Yeah, screen increases in size is noticeable but not on my wrist, it still looks roughly the same size which is good!
Yeah, AOD is really cool coming from an S4, didn’t think that would be as big a difference as it is!

I’m considering cancelling now, cause that’s BS. A preorder reserves you an item that should be delivered around when they say it should, not over a month later.
If they couldn’t get a Milanese band, they should have offered another band, not just pushed my order off.
