Not going to work. The Notch is the Apple's ICONIC design. It's like a piece of jewelry, LOL

Is this distracting? Yes, but it's going to take some time to get adjusted. Guess what, Your iPhone 13 Pro Max has a notch and you don't complain about it.

The power and the battery it will offer is the greatest trade-off for the notch.
What notch?

Finally received my watch today. Actually, the 41mm starlight with midnight band does not look bad. When I tried it at the physical store 2 days ago it looked tiny and I didn't like the colour. But at home it's almost the same size as my Amazfit Bip S.

Two problems though:

- The top half of the sports band is jiggly. It will lock into the case but is loose. Not sure if it's a band issue or the watch itself.

- The other thing was that both bands were very hard to slide in. As soon as both halves were slid in, I noticed that the watch tore through a small layer of silicone on each band. It can be hidden if you slide it in properly, but still, it sucks. ;-(

I'm going to contact Apple Support for help on the band.
I've had that happen in the past also. Apple replaced the band first time it happened. Now I'm really careful sliding the band in and sometimes it is not easy.

What notch?
@LFC2020 made me do this.

I like the Apple Card for Apple purchases and for the places where you get the higher CB (Panera, Walgreens, etc). As a daily driver I use a Chase Freedom Unlimited paired with a Chase Sapphire Preferred which exceeds the 2%. I also have a USAA cash back that gives 2.5% back on all purchases.

Anyway, if you want a single card it’s a decent option depending on how you spend. Using the physical card for 1% is leaving a lot on the table though.
I wouldn’t see myself using the Apple Card much except for Apple purchases. My current daily driver is Chase Freedom Flex due to 5% back on Walmart and PayPal this quarter. I’m still looking for a 2% card for everything else though.

I think it's worth it. 3% cash back for Apple Store and Apple Services (Music/iCloud, etc) and 2% cash back on other Apple Pay usage - straight to your Apple Cash card at the end of each day. I always pay it off at the end of the month, so I haven't paid any interest on it at all. There's a few other stores/brands that also give 3% cash back when using it, too. The customer service from Goldman-Sachs has been excellent (gave me a refund during that iPhone 13 Apple Card glitch) and their help is readily available. It's a wicked fancy card, if/when you break out the physical card...serious flex when you break it out.

Figure if we’re buying Apple stuff, the card is worth it. Why not get 3% off every purchase? Why not do monthly installments for some things so it seems like you’re spreading out your excitement over bills? Why not support the team?

YES!!!!! I love it. I love the cash back I get everyday I use it. All I do is pay with my Apple card, then immediately pay off the amount I just put on it. It's a no brainer especially for Apple purchases. And the Titanium card is sooooo beautiful.
I obviously came to the wrong place to ask about Apple Card 😆

This is info on who you chat with for Goldman Sachs/Apple Card. The third is my chat following that iPhone 13 Pre-order glitch - and they lived up to that promise. They respond to you within about a minute of your first note to them. So far, service has been on par with AMEX Platinum customer service.

I thought you'd be rocking this card for sure! It is literally the Titanium boss of cards. Even arrives in total Apple style packaging, comparable to a phone or watch experience.
Very helpful. Thank you for the info ;) Yes sir, I love my Apple card :) Best credit card ever. It's also made out of Titanium element. You get alot of Ohhhhhhh, Ahhhhhhh moment.

Do you guys do AppleCare+ on your watches? I'm thinking I might do it for 3.99 a month. Is it worth it?
I think so and I do get it for my phone and watch each...the one year I skipped it, I smashed my watch screen while camping. I went to the store, the Apple person sold me AppleCare retroactively and then I got the screen replaced at the reduced price. Totally at their discretion to do that vs. just charge me the full damage fee - but as @LFC2020 has said - being nice and have a sad story/sad face helps a lot.

@Boardiesboi & @TheYayAreaLiving how well do these leather links watch bands hold up to rain?

Pissing down rain here today, first weekend out of lockdown 😃 Taco Bell here I come 😂
Oh no stay away from any water. It will damage the leather. They are not water proof. Apple also states to avoid putting Water on them. It will destroy it.

Leather and Water don’t go together.

Nope, the stupid thing had free apple care plus until the 22nd up top, now it’s saying apple care plus expires today. 🤔

Sigh, looks a phone call to apple support is needed once they open.

Our stupid government had to introduce this 7 days complementary apple care + 🤦‍♂️

@LFC2020 look not water resistant. It is under manufacture note.

Thank you 🙏 this is going to be annoying when washing my hands 🤦‍♂️ Not taking my watch off every time. 🤦‍♂️

Might return the midnight band because of this.
Yeah! Be very careful with it. Or else your band is going to look like mine. The leather will be destroyed and color will fade. You just have to be careful with them. Stay away from any liquid or Water. No problem!
