Leather only stains (when wet) depending on the type of leather, and will likely (depending on leather) come out when polishing it.

However, due to Apple using a colour coating, I’m not sure how polish will stick to it.

I’d really advise getting a proper piece of leather.

Baltic blue watch band ain’t going nowhere though lol.

I've had the Baltic Blue leather band for a year and it never got wet washing my hands. Just be careful washing your hands or also it is very easy to take off and put on. Don't send back that beautiful band.
