Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

I'm on the call with Apple. About the change my shipping from Standard to Express! Lol, that standard word is bugging me.

Is it worth getting? I was going to get different bands anyway so I ordered the Starlight Nike edition and normal version for store pickup. I know you get extra watch faces but that's about it.
 
45mm Aluminum Midnight/midnight launch day delivery in Rome. Somehow I ordered 3 and am waiting for the order to go into Processing to cancel 2. App came up first here with the website following about 5 minutes later.

Yeah, we got fooled this year. I hope Apple really consider's that pre-select option for next year.

I like the Nike version because I prefer the Nike sport bands and it defaults to it if you get the watch and the band together. That's really the only reason why I get it. I've never used the app or the faces.

I can't remember...
After receiving the watch... can you only return the watchband and get another one? or do you have to return watch+band for a new combo and there wait months till watch supply steadied itself?

Yeah, I have a new 45mm Nike Blue Band coming in the mail - so I didn't really care about what band came with the case. I went back in to the studio and did some band changes, and some combos are still available for 10/15 store pickup - but I'll just suck it up.

Bands get switched out at least 2-3 times a year for me to keep it fresh or coordinated. Let a sleeping dog lie. 😆

I was not happy with the mid November date and No In store pick up available so went back in and could get the SS Gold with a Sport Band a week earler stating Nov 2 - 8 so placed that on order. As soon as the other hits processing will cancel. This is totally crazy. I really feel Apple should have been better prepared and stock available.

I agree! they were not prepared. Not sure who's incharge of this Apple Watch pre-orders.

Sweet. Went for that anyway and will pick out a band I like in store. Might just go back to the starlight sport band but as the loop.
