Anyone got 45mm silver stainless for 10/15 delivery?

Ordered a 45mm SS graphite with 10/15 delivery. Confirmation email 3 minutes after the store opened.

Thanks. I was set on natural titanium this year, but I didn’t want to wait another month. With tax, it was going to be about $900, so I’m kinda glad to save the money anyway. I get AppleCare, so the 2 year warranty doesn’t matter for me.

Anyone had any luck with stainless steel. Seems like it's delayed too, sadly.

The only SS launch-day availability I saw when the store first opened was with the modern buckle.

Yes. It was idiosyncratic, though. Initially, I took the default Blue Aluminum 45mm + Cellular with the Sport Loop and there was no store pickup available, and when I clicked through to confirmation, shipping had slipped from 10/15 to 10/26-10/28. That was at 8:05 AM EDT.

But at 8:15 AM EDT, after clicking through the Studio interface to select the same Watch with the Abyss Blue Sport Band, I was offered 10/15 in-store pick-up. So I opted for that and a bit later canceled my original order.

Who knows what the algorithm is. 🤷‍♂️

It all comes down to the availability of the band. I also think Space Black Titanium are very limited. Hopefully it has a nice color pattern.

What is totally crazy is I can get the SS Gold with Sports Band a week earlier (would have preferred to get it Oct 15 rather than first week of Nov) than if I ordered the Leather Link. But I can go in and order the Leather Link band by itself and get it next week.

I didn’t see if for my UK pre-order

I didn’t see store pickup with my preferred configuration so placed the order. Then fiddling around later I noticed store pickup with the sport band. Collection 15 October, so I placed a second order, which generated an anti fraud text from my credit card company. I’ll cancel the original order as soon as the ordering system allows.

What an interesting watch launch day! 5:00am - wake up and ... my wife and I get to our laptops and ... 5:05 the website still not showing - but the Apple Store apps on our iPhones are working but they don't have an option for trade in. So we wait... 5:10am the website kinda starts working - taking forever to load, I get a watch I want with an Oct 15 pickup aaaand right before I go to pay "Please choose another delivery method" - of course I can't hit the back so I kill the cart and start again... this time I build my watch but the Order now button is greyed out with no options for delivery. Meanwhile my wife got hers but a Nov 15 delivery date. So, I try again.

Finally got my order in after 3 failed attempts, Nov 2 - Nov 9 at 5:39am. Trade in - $220 for an AW6 LTE ain't terribly great. My wife got $210 for her AW6 GPS.

Can't say that was smoothest launch day experience I've had.

Did someone say it’ll be a couple of days before I can cancel my original order?

I was able to cancel my first order on Apple.com about 30 minutes after I placed it. The option hadn't appeared yet in the app.

Ugh…could not decide which band. I was sure I wanted the black Nike sport loop, but now I’m waffling. The leather link looks beautiful but then I read that golden brown is too orange. And I also like the khaki Nike loop! Which order should I keep?

Got in super early and had a SS Graphite 45mm for pickup on the 15th. Timed out and checkout 3 times and ended up with delivery 8 - 15th November.

Super unhappy with how the store worked but at least I got one coming eventually. I might even try my luck at the store on the morning anyway.

And I've already got a shipping update...

Before it said Arrives 8 - 15th November, not it just says "Arrives" 😂

I agree with the trade in for the AW6 isn’t good at all. Not sure if I am going to keep mine, sell, or trade-in.

Use the chat option. I just cancelled an order with them. Cancelled the delivery order as manager to snag a collection day order.

Ordered 44mm Aluminum Midnight with Midnight sports band. Got it for Oct 15! Looking forward to it as I have only ever had the Series 2!
