Delivery for most versions was showing November, so went for next Saturday collection instead.

Ordered Nike starlight 41mm for in store pick up on launch day. I only ordered the Nike version because that is the band I wanted. At my age the only running I do is to the bathroom. LOL. My gold iPhone13 pro isn't being delivered until 10/28. This is my first trip back to apple after the only iPhone I ever had the the 6. Love my iPads though. This is going to be a big adjustment for me coming from the Pixel 4xl. I was going to wait and see what the Pixel 6 is like but I am older and live alone so I want the fall detection just in case. The things you decide when you get older!

From grumbling on the iPhone thread, I would say no. There were people that tried and were told they needed to send it in.

From personal experience, the mail in trade in works pretty well.

I was also told at the store that I could not give my trade-in to store, and would need to mail it.

That’s because there was no real inventory for 10/15. The real launch for the watch this year is late Oct/early Nov.

No luck with any bands that I can stand for a Blue Aluminum 45 gps/cellular. I've never tried pre-ordering anything in 10+ years of Apple products. I phoned in and the Apple salesperson said, sorry, try again every day this week. The chat person told me 3 colors of bands that were available that I couldn't stand. What do you seasoned pre-order people think? As others have said, wish we could just order the watch without a band, I've already got plenty.

Since you have plenty of bands that you do like, order with any band and just don’t use the one you don’t like.

AW 7 45mm, Midnight. Status has changed to Preparing to Ship to Rome, Italy, for 15 Oct delivery. Typically, those of us in Europe won't see further updates until the item is shipped from a local hub.

Just look at how little product was available for launch day even for those that checked out by 5:02. Virtually everyone was in the late October bucket and more so in early November.

Yes, got my Graphite SS for Launch Day!!! 8:04am.

The first titanium one i selected at about 1 minute past, was already showing november and not available in my favourite stores (one of which is regent street).
Immediate strap changes made no difference.

I pre-ordered at 7:02cst time. For some reason I couldn't choose delivery (it was greyed out) so I chose pick up at store on 10-15. I live 5 minutes away so no big deal. I'm also second guessing the starlight silver since everyone is now saying it has a gold tint to it. Hoping they have extra stock if i need to exchange it.

Thanks, I had a momentary no signal (thanks EE), hence i was a minute late.

Having sold the AW6, I dont want to wait a month without, tempted to consider a nike (they're still showing available to collect next friday). Which if I cancel my titanium order would be less money for Apple of course, hence I assume they had a production issue. Decisions decisions, 10-17nov is a long way away

Well, I think it’s more because you are from the US. I doubt Europe had as many supplies sadly
