Like Garmin does? The workout analysis a garmin smartwatch gives you is extraordinary. Apple presented the watch, years ago. But that‘s it. Gimmicks, Micky Mouse watch faces, new emojis …

Enjoy walking around with your rectal thermometer dongle for your Apple Watch then lol, the reading it provides is more than sufficient for most uses. A core temperature reading is not necessary in a lot of instances.

This one goes in your butt. That one scene made a physician friend of mine giggle. I think they still talk about it.

I received my Apple Watch Series 8 today, upgrading from the 6. People say it's almost no difference, which I largely agree with. However one subtle difference for me is the better readability on the newer model, which I believe is only 1 mm bigger. The spacing of small text and numbers in the weather app, for example, is much better on this newer watch, even when both updated to the latest watch OS. It is a series of small UI tweaks that make a noticeable difference for me, when interacting with the watch. And even if battery life is roughly the same, the battery on the 6 was not holding up well after two years of use.

Just having a think, why oh why did Apple not bring out the S8 in a Ti finish?? Would have been ideal. Especially as they did the SS but not the Ti?!

I think it's 'old news' now. People expected them to come out with it, and they didn't. *SURPRISE*

I'm thinking a real surprise would be carbon fiber, or another ceramic one (this time with flecks of gold, or colored glass).

I thought there was something about titanium being a 'conflict mineral' or something. I've got a Ti7, and it's just any other Apple Watch to people that see it, and I'm the only one that knows the 'secret'. Kind of makes purchasing it more of an extravagance than it should be I suppose. I just liked the idea of a titanium AW, and it (content wise) matches a ring I wear. It's accessorizing. There aren't any rules for that except: if you want it and can afford it (or someone buys it for you) it's all good. Am I right?

(I thought a wood Extra Special Edition would be so awesome. And don't laugh, people would buy it. Some would buy several) (Waiting for the launch. They are running really late for some reason)

Would love to see a Ceramic version of the S8 or next AW. Don't think it would suit the Ultra however.
